I have always had stories from people who have had opportunities to taste the seafood at Red Lobster. Some of the accounts have been scary. As my good friend John put’s, it that whenever you enter the seafood chain world always remember you are at war both with yourself and the seafood served. This gives a chilling impression on what should be a moment to relish. I always love it freaky scary. Sometime in June, I was gifted with a cash voucher from a person I had saved from drowning. I wasn’t expecting that the lad would remember because my action was what any other person would do if the were in my position. Since that incident, we have always had contact with each other and luckily enough, he was the only person who saw it fit to crown my birthday with a cash voucher
Just as it has always been on my mind, I had this perfect opportunity to take myself to the seafood chain just as John puts it. Downtown Naples has built a name for itself because of the many posh restaurants the place host. Peculiar among them is the Red lobster which has a specialty with seafood (Davidson, 2014). I was going to have my moment with the food. Determined to have a treat of my life and at the same time battling with anxiety from the stories as were told, I set on a journey to treat myself at the Naples.

I took a made a phone call to reserve my space. Yes, I was on a mission to treat myself, and just as they say that seafood does not need a friend’s company, I felt it rather sacrilegious to break this code. The phone call gave me the much-needed assurance; the lady receptionist had this fine Italian accent that would reassure any disturbed soul that all would be fine. Luckily enough she was not able to notice the frailty in my voice. After a few moments, my dinner table was reserved for Friday evening
Upon my arrival I got a seat, my waitress, Martina, was awesome keen and attentive to detail. She informed me that the hotel was packed with appetizers for me to start with as she brought cocktail juice and rolls. I had already placed my order before arrival, so I was just given a confirmation that the meal would be ready in 45 mins. However, the challenge came when the foods were not ready at the time they promised and straight away I felt violated. I must admit that even though the kitchen may have had issues, the restaurant has one of the best customer care services.
My meal ultimately came albeit 30 mins late; I was served with lobster, spaghetti, and some dessert. There were some vegetable salad and tomato paste as an additive. At first, I got this weird smell from the lobsters, but that must have been from anxiety given that it was my first time to try out a lobster. Later one, I overcame my fear and enjoyed my meal at the premise. It was one of the best meal dates have ever had in a while. Much of it can come from the peaceful ambiance that the restaurant brought. The coolness of this place, as well as compassionate customer services, gives one the assurance to always come from more (Evenson, 2017). At the end of the day, I had John to thank for he gave me an opportunity to explore things that I had never imagined.
