The development of technology has benefited different areas including the transport system. The roads are set to become safer due to the improved designs of the roads as well as the vehicles. The improvements are predicted to help reduce the number of traffic deaths (Ecola, Popper, Silberglitt & Fraade-Blanar, 2018). The following work will show how new technology will help minimize roadway fatalities.
Vehicles being manufactured in the current era are safer as they are made using new techniques which helps save lives and prevent accidents. The cars are manufactured with balloons, for example, which goes off when a car is involved in an accident. The balloon holds a person from moving forward when the vehicle has lasted immediately (Fowles & Loeb, 2018). There are also other gadgets which guide the drivers on the distance with the vehicle in from or back, thus helping in controlling the speed.

The construction of the roads is also improving safety when driving. There are visible traffic signs which are established throughout the roads to guide the drivers on what they are supposed to do. The signs which deter drivers from overtaking are established in the edges where accidents are likely to happen (Eseonu, Gambatese & Nnaji, 2018). In addition, most of the roads are now highways which mean that vehicles from different sides can move comfortably. Furthermore, it is beneficial since it helps to solve the issue of traffic.
In conclusion, development in technology has improved the methods of construction by the engineers. They can come up with better designs of vehicles, which can minimize death or excessive injury to people. The roads are also constructed in a way that they will be more accommodating, thus reducing the chances of traffic accidents.
