The success of a restaurant is pegged on strictly following the dreams while doing the good. In the process, the entrepreneur is supposed to be adventurers even though he is faced with challenges. He should not shy away from delegating work as he is unable to carry out every activity and could be more talented individuals than he is on the task. Lastly, there should be a successful management team.

To begin with, according to Chef Gordon Ramsay, he states that no one can be successful if they do not love what they do as well as they wake up each morning excited. He further explains that those individuals that are spending their time working on activities that they love are mostly the ones enjoying life the most. Also, they are those individuals who attempted to risk as well as chase their dreams.

Therefore, to be a legendary investor and a billionaire one needs to be successful at almost anything. Thus, an individual must have a passion for the activity. For instance, a person with an average intelligence combined with a horrible passion for what they carry out and who can get individuals surrounding them to march, even when the individuals cannot envision what is next, things are bound to happen. Thus, there is the need to follow one's dreams.

Gordon says, "Do some good." Doing some good translates to making a positive difference to individuals' lives, and if not, then there should not be a reason for one to be in business. Therefore, the Spunky Monkey Restaurant together with its staff as a whole should practice the norm. Employer of the Spunky Monkey Restaurant must ascribe to the idea, for instance, if a person buys two pizzas, they get a glass of juice.

The restaurant never believed in ideas, however, believing in is another key success for the Spunky Monkey Restaurant. According to Gordon, the restaurant is not advocating for itself and is not giving another person a reason to justify the same. The restaurant should be proud of its ideas and believe in their plan that is when other people will believe. Therefore, for the restaurant to succeed, principally for entrepreneurs, they should, first be obsessed and in love with what they do. This is because, if one has a strategy to exit, then it is never an obsession.

In any successful business, Gordon identifies fun as the first and most ingredients among others in any effective business, however, it is underrated. Thus, there is the need to have fun, and just in case there isn't it is better for the person to try something different. For Gordon's most successful business, the idea of fun has played a key role.

Gordon argues that on every adventure every business person has been on, starting from initiating the business, there have been times when the easy thing to do would be to give up. But, one has to stick through to propel them to great success, both professional and personal. The talent on its own is just a factor. Success needs determined effort and a lot of it for greater achievement. In the absence of effort, chef's talent is nothing more than his unmet potential which requires the power of passion as well as perseverance.

New challenges are always there which must always be set. Thus, employers and staffs or chefs should write down their ideas so that they do not disappear by morning. The benefit of writing down ideas is that it solves the problem of setting new challenges through lists of every kind which range from ideas to plans. Whether the idea is small or big, it should be put down in writing since the employer never knows what will hit next.

As defines Gordon, managers should learn to delegate some duties. For starters of restaurants, learning that they should not do everything by themselves is a difficult skill, however, it is worth. The benefit of delegating is getting individuals who can do tasks which one is not good at and thus frees them up to plan for future events. But, based on finances, refusal to delegate only limits the entrepreneurs' financial potential. Therefore, believing that nobody can handle something just like you is ignorance. There are several talented individuals in the world. Therefore, entrepreneurs should begin putting sufficient faith into other individuals who work as well as are under them. They should stop emphasizing that something will not be done if they do not lay a hand on it. Delegating the work improves the results. Super achievers have identified that there are people who can do the work better than them hence their success!

As much as individual success matters, the success of the restaurant's management team does matter as well. Gordon pinpoints the need to foster a welcoming, innovative and safe work environment. Thus, the staff will have fun as well as genuinely care about other individuals. The staff will enjoy their work as well as do a better job. When hiring, it is essential to hire the right persons. As elaborated by Gordon, there is the need to identify individuals who look for the best in others, such as praising as opposed to criticizing and loving what they do.

As Gordon elaborates, there is the need to love creating things by seeing problems in the world and providing solutions. In this way, entrepreneurs can develop several brands. There are several issues an entrepreneur has to consider while establishing a restaurant such as running the enterprise, managing individuals as well as hiring people. When starting a business, the entrepreneur should be in a position to challenge the status quo by challenging the normalized wisdom as well as encouraging the staff to do the same. The process entails verification of things from the opinion of customers. Thus, there is an anticipated difference that will stand out and which is very important.

Moreover, Gordon states that restaurants should create value in the world to improve the lives of people. Customer service should be upscale which can only be achieved through passion in order to have a viable business. Also when entrepreneurs are pitching, they should keep things in a simple, clear and memorable way. As elaborates Gordon, the idea is to avoid ambiguity such as may be, with some luck or we hope there will be… There should be some confidence and concrete statements.

Thus, a clear, concise blueprint that investors require can easily be presented and understood which they can repeat to their own persons. In initial meetings, there should be no extremely complicated presentations. Furthermore, Gordon advice business people to provide clear explanations of why their business is expected to be sustainable. Also, how they will go through technological shifts and challenges since nothing is expected to remain the same for so long. Therefore, as an entrepreneur, it is expected that one explains how to plan to address the inevitable technological changes alongside market shifts that are anticipated.

Another important issue is being a self-motivator. Gordon highlights that restaurant managers need to be good self-motivators which is to their advantageous use. Understanding ones key motivation is important so that he or she focuses on their efforts to achieve the goals. Thereafter, the job needs to be structured through delegation of work in order to spend more energy to the restaurants' advantage. Making money should not be the key motivator.

But, most significantly, an entrepreneur should work on building an enterprise he or she is proud of which is a motivator. After identifying one's motivations as well as aspirations, there should be an organized talk with employees alongside colleagues regarding theirs. The strategy will allow the manager to structure the job in a manner that allows them to tap into their energy as well. The manager together with their employees approaching their work with renewed effort and commitment, there is little that one cannot achieve together.

There is the need of setting oneself impossible challenges by dreaming big, then catch up with them by making what individuals believe is impossible possible. The goals are achieved by setting targets.

After starting your business, the first year should be focused on survival. The survival tactics will likely take everything an entrepreneur has. No matter how afraid or tired an entrepreneur is, he is to figure out how to proceed.

Moreover, investors come with more than just money. A closer look at the investors as suggested by Gordon, an entrepreneur should ask themselves if in case the person is likely to give the space and time that is needed to build a big business. On the other hand, a dictatorial financial colleague can destroy the spirit as well as the enthusiasm of the entrepreneur. Therefore, it is important that an entrepreneur's investor is somebody who can allow you to run a business without questioning on getting into the way you make a decision. However, it is essential to keep in mind that it is not all about money and that the individual you are bringing on board is as well important and carries more than just a checkbook. The most significant partnership an entrepreneur has is that of the entrepreneur and the staff. Getting this right increases the chances of higher success.

As Gordon describes, entrepreneurs should create a culture of opportunities. Peoples should be allowed to run with their ideas and that they can move up the restaurant. Once people or staff see this concept, they will work even harder to master their job so that they are considered for promotion and further development. In an event employee often see individuals from outside taking top jobs in the restaurant, they will be discouraged and the work will suffer. The restaurant is more likely to have high turnover since they work at the same place and have a similar amount of work and are never promoted. Last but not least, the employer should promote from within. Promoting from within does not just mean bumping individuals to higher positions, but also letting them have more freedom in their current positions.

In conclusion, success, as well as adventure, will not come to an entrepreneur; it is the sole responsibility of the entrepreneur to find it. One needs to go out into the world by taking a break from work for purposes of relaxing and recharging. Staffs can as well go for regular vacations to regulate burnout which may as well boost the probability of getting a pay rise. Last but not least, according to Gordon, prove those individuals who say bad things against you. In other words, for one to thrive there must be critics alongside copycats. The best thing one can do for them is to both ignore them as well as prove them wrong in any way possible.
