However, HCA has other responsibilities that are not as common but they are as vital as all the mentioned activities. We should consider the responsibilities of HCA to the patients. For example, HCA has responsibilities to morally support the employees and also support the patient.

The HCA daily activities include reviving the work that is being done by the human resources, ensuring allocation of resources, communication all the activities that are to be done on a given day ( Begun, White& Mosser, 2011) . During these activities, the HCA can also undertake some social responsibility activities that would help in improving the daily activities ( Begun, White& Mosser, 2011) . For example, the HCA in a hospital can be a leader rather than a manager. The HCA can engage in daily activities such as cooking, waste management, cleaning and providing moral support to the patients who are in the words. The HCA has an ethical and moral responsibility to create a link with other workers of the hospital. Engaging in activities that are done by the subordinates may seem like micro-management strategies but it is a way to make sure that the HCA understand the working environment and the condition in each environment. That way they will help improve the process of resources allocation to help improve the various areas in the health facility.

The main responsibilities of the HCA are to ensure the health facility is the best of the management through great resource allocation ( Eldridge & Judkins, 2012) . Patients are an important aspect of the organization. Having communication with the patients can be beneficial for the HCA to undertake the management roles. Inpatients have the ideas of the things that can be improved in a health facility. Maintaining a regular communication strategy can help improve the hospital conditions and also improve the quality of services.

Providing moral and ethical support to the patients ( Dahnke, 2013) . The HCA can visit the wards and the casualty areas to interact and encourage the patients. Through such means, the HCA ethical responsibilities are met. Encouraging the patients and asking about the services that they are receiving. Patents will feel that the hospital care about them and thus they will be willing to participate in improving the facility. The HCA will also know areas that are lacking in terms of Human are sources and other capital resources. Social responsibility is a way of interacting with society to help and know the different needs that exist. All health care workers are social workers as they deal with the welfare of human beings. Therefore it should become a daily routine to engage with patients to talk and encourage them.

Although not on a daily basis, it would be important for the HCA to stand an employee who does not prefer maybe on sick leave. It would indicate exceptional leadership skills. Although some roles in a hospital are not easy to handle especially the nursing and physician practice require proper training to be able to handle patients Donald et al., 2010) . In addition to helping human resources, the HCA can plan and allocate resources for social events such as competitions and helping colleagues through their lives. Social activities help improve the relations between the employees and improve the working environment.

Engaging the community around the hospital. The HCA can improve the management of the hospital by engaging the community that live close to the hospital. There are different ways to engage with the community such as holding social activities, opening communication channels, charity work and so forth. Social activities may involve environmental conservation or beautification, charity work such as providing free community treatment and other health services. The community affects the way an institution is managed. Although not a daily activity the HCA can plan ways to communicate with the society to improve the relations. Such interactions improve management issues such as security and safety and a conducive working condition

Management work goes beyond resources allocation. It is the responsibility of the HCA to ensure that a hospital carries out its operations in a smooth way. To supplement the major operations, the HCA can engage in other roles that can help improve the overall management of the hospital. For example engaging in employee activities such as cooking, waste management, cleaning, engaging the team in extra activities and engaging with the patients. Most of these activities may seem oriented toward business management but all indicate how a HCA can improve social responsibility ( Begun, White& Mosser, 2011) . Patients’ contribution toward the management of the facility help improves the leadership approach in the hospital.
