The industrial revolution was as an era of fast social and technological advancement that has modeled the globe we currently live in. It was an era of enormous innovation and several objects that exist presently were simply inventions during the industrial revolution. Today’s current innovations within various industries such as textile, iron and consumer goods sectors are because of the ideas that emerged in the industrial revolution (Munn, 1846). The transformation of transportation, communication, and mechanization has eased life in America. The modern society has been the ultimate of the industrial revolution. 

Scientific Discoveries Made During this Period and how they contribute to Industrialization 

Some of the scientific discoveries that were made included the invention of the viol seraphine, the sewing machine, and among others. The viol seraphine founded the creation of other musical instruments that have been utilized. The principle of a viol seraphine has been successfully applied in the many instruments like guitars that have come afterward. Mr. Howe also discovered a machine that was capable of sewing beautiful and strong seams in clothes (Munn, 1846). It is the concepts utilized in this machine of lifting the thread that passes through the needle eye using the lifting rod that has been applied in the present sewing machines.

New Power Sources that Arose as a Result of the Scientific Discoveries

The presence of lightning lines, referred to as the electric telegraph, have been utilized in great cities of the United States, and in Montreal as well as Quebec. The telegraph line that connects through the whole distance from New York to Buffalo has boosted communication. 

Communication has also revolutionized so that its application can be realized in advertising. A new and enhanced mode of advertising has been started in London, which facilitates communication between laborers and employers. Hotels, as well as businesspersons, utilize technology to make advertisements to prospective clients. Advertising has been made easier through the technologies that have revolutionized over time. Thus, industrialization is significant in terms of making life easy for people as well as organizations in the United States
