Human resource management refers to the component of an organization tasked with the responsibility of people dimension. Human resource management is a support function or staff in the group that offers transactional, tactical and strategic human resource services to any person in the organization. Besides, human resource management is a job for every manager, whether the person supervises the crew or works in the department of human resource. All managers are tasked with the human resource management duties. Human resource management is divided into four fundamental functions that include staffing, training and development, maintenance and motivation.

Since Grower's selection of superior strategic mission comprising of speedily growing the number of stores, the consequences has led for the human resource department to wide-ranging. The human resource has the fundamental duty to recruit, screen, hire and train the new employees. If Grower's Choice intends to proliferate, thus the strategic plan for the positions that are required to be filled to support the staffing functions. The human resource begins the search for establishing persons with particular knowledge, skills and the abilities relevant to the specific jobs or positions. Furthermore, the training is further identified for the recruits useful for their positions. The human resource department will as well develop present employees to grow into new management openings which will be essential and determine how to preserve the current personnel. The human resource may need to build their workforce as well as update technology and processes.

The Grower's Choice values and mission statements should sway Alonzo as he restructures the human resource department in various ways. First, the mission and values manifest the core values of an organization. Thus, Alonzo as the human resource should apply the values and mission statements as the guiding precepts to assist him to develop a culture that promotes how members of organization treat one another as well as the stakeholders on a day to day basis. Besides, the mission and values are essential in developing the human resource policies and practices that enhance the core values. 

There are numerous ways in which each of the four human resource management responsibilities can add to aiding of the mission and values. First, staffing as a function of human resource management is essential for employment planning, job analysis, and branding. Further, it entails screening and selection that should be applied with consistency with mission and values. Secondly, training and development involve employee development and training. Both organizational and career developments contribute to promoting the mission and core values. Thirdly, there is motivation which is an intrinsic reward. Motivation is intended to inspire since jobs have been designed to offer exceptional satisfaction from task undertakings, responsibilities and a sense of feeling treasured. Extrinsic rewards, for instance, pay is intended to reward performance that enhances the mission and core values of an organization. Lastly, there is maintenance which includes benefits, efficient communication with employees, a work-life balance which must be designed to enhance mission and core values of an organization. 

How a talent management strategy can benefit Grower's Choice is through promoting workforce planning that ensures the organization creates an effective program of recruitment. Besides, the programs should be based on applicants of tracks through the process of hiring. Nonetheless, the talent management should establish an overboard program that enhances the culture, assesses the performance of an employee, considers a fair pay of an employee and develops employee to grow in career. Lastly, talent management should identify the high potential of an employee to move into management. 

There are both advantages and disadvantages in evaluating the option of outsourcing the human resource function for Grower's Choice. The benefits include Grower's Choice outsourcing either one or all human resource functions. In this case, outsourcing can allow the company to offer more generous gains, attract better job candidates as well as further handle government regulations more effectively. On the other side, the disadvantages of Grower's Choice outsourcing for a human resource may be a professional employer company unlikely not to be responsive to the needs and cultures of the organization.

The mission statement of Grower's Choice is to build lasting client relationships based on a level of trust that is earned through wise counsel, positive results, clear and candid communication, and service that exceeds expectations . Sales commissions remunerate Grower's Choice, and the organization is transparent in their transactions. Usually, the company's good counsel and advice are involved without a fee. The organization physically measures their clients' fields with ATV and a GPS. That highlights the organization's assurance to serving as the customer's advocate, concentrating its attention on positioning the customer's best interests at the lead.

Growers Choice Insurance, Incorporation is a wholly independent organization and has specialized in insurance for companies, families, farms, and individuals. The organization's consumers are found all around the Michigan state, providing them with a great feel for an insurance background. The organization design strategies with a focus on management of risks, tax-efficiency and low expenses which it combines with individualized financial counsel focused on assisting clients to make better-informed choices. The company incorporates the customers'' Crop Insurance in their grain marketing plan.

On the other hand, Publix's mission is " to be the premier quality food retailer in the world. " Thus, the company is committed to being single-mindedly focused on customer value. Besides, the organization is intolerant of waste and dedicated to the dignity, value, as well as employment security of its associates. Lastly, Publix is enthusiastic to the highest standards of stewardship for its stockholders.

Conclusion

With regards to the strategic planning process, it is essential to restructure the human resource department to better mainstream organizational resources to achieve the objectives of strategic planning. Based on the needs and strategy of the organization, a section or all of the human resource roles, as well as responsibilities, can be outsourced.
