Title: The need for a Blood Donation Clinic in our community.
Specific Purpose: The purpose of this speech is to persuade members of the community outreach center to set up a blood donation clinic.
Audience: Community members involved in the Community Outreach Program.
Organizational Pattern: Sequential design.
Introduction.
It is the essence of human beings to have concern for others. The health of our friends, relatives, and fellow citizens is part of this concern. It is, for this reason, I am here to encourage you to set up a blood donation clinic at our Community Outreach Center. Blood donation may help to save someone's life. The blood donation clinic will not only serve as a noble course but will also be of great benefit to our society for several reasons.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Body.
A lot of patients in America need blood to sustain their health. They include but not in limitation to women experiencing pregnancy complications. Blood transfusion saves both mother and child in cases of excessive bleeding (World Health Organization, 2017). Casualty patients from accidents often experience severe blood loss, and having enough blood supply in our hospitals' blood banks will ensure such patients have the chance to recuperate. Patients set to go for complex surgical procedures also require transfusions to prevent severe blood loss during the surgery (Meybohm et al. 2017). Such patients are the reason for this drive towards blood donation to ensure the lives of those we care for are not at risk.
The demand for blood supply in hospitals in America is rapidly increasing, while the availability of this blood is still deficient (Ellingson et al. 2017). The demand grows due to the increase in procedures that require surgeries. Diseases such as cancer have been on the rise, with many of them requiring a constant supply of blood to sustain a patient's health. America is currently experiencing a surge in surgical procedures performed annually. Society needs to step up if we are to satisfy the rising demand for blood supply in our hospitals.
Conclusion
A blood donation clinic will be a platform for members of this community to contribute to our society. The Center will be taking a step to improve blood supply in our hospitals and, in addition, allowing residents in the community to participate in a noble act. As such, we become heroes to someone or even many people. Everyone needs a second chance in life, and the clinic could be the key to someone's second lease of life.
