Sexual harassments have become a global issue. The idea of sexual harassment is perpetrated by factors such as increased use of technology like mobile phones. Most youths use their mobile phones to access pornographic films which have negative impact on their psychology and this has led to the violent acts for instance sexual harassments. Another factor which also leads to this behavior is the rising issue of human trafficking. Most scholars have stated that most victims of sexual harassment do not report this incidence due to the ignorance they get from the public. It therefore means that public education on sexual harassment still needs to be enhanced. |

The authors claim that one of the reasons why there is a rising rate of sexual harassment and assaults in the community today, is because most people are unable to read the sexual predators’ behavior in advance and thus quickly fall into the traps. As a result, the authors present survey items on sexual harassment and use 128 participants from European countries to assess how they read the signs of sexual harassment. The results show a variety of issues concerning sexual assaults. An example of an issue revealed by this study is that is women are a target than men. The authors end by claiming that awareness is necessary and people should be educated especially on how to read behavior of such people and try to avoid them. |
In this case, what is coming out is that though sexual harassments are becoming a global social issue, many people are still not aware of this kind of social challenge. This makes them fall into traps. Enhancing awareness of the tactics used by sexual predators as suggested in this article can act as good, move. |

At what age should children be exposed to the topic of sexual abuse and harassments? This is the main discussion presented in this article. The authors have noted that it is challenging for the parents to discuss with their children on issues of sexual harassment. According to the author, children are rated as the second highest victims of sexual harassment. However, the author has also noted that children have less information on this topic and this has led to their ignorance which led them to these traps. The author thus recommends open communication as one of the best ways they can use to help their children stay alert in their environment to avoid such instances. |
The sexual predators target children more than adult’s children due to their inability to respond to attack. This has placed children in danger of sexual harassment. The parents thus have a critical role in ensuring that children are safe by communicating to them on this issues. |

There are different reasons documented in this article which make such victims unwilling to share their experience with others. The first and the major reason is humiliations.
