Sexual harassment is a contemporary problem that most organizations are facing as they try to improve the workplace environment for its employees. Traditionally, the cases of sexual and workplace harassment were skewed in the sense that men were the ones harassing the female employees. Most men in the management and executive position in the organizations misuse their powers and authorities by harassing the female employees ( Uhl-Bien, Schermerhorn, and Osborn, 2014) . For instance, there are cases in which some of the female staffs in junior positions were asked by their supervisors to offer sex in return for promotion and increased remunerations, benefits and base pay. In some cases, the supervisors have been reported to ask for sexual favors so that they can conceal some workplace mistakes that have been committed by their junior employees. Moreover, during the recruitment process, some victims have also been asked for sex in exchange for the employment opportunity.
Due to the recent empowerment of women, sexual harassment has also included women who are in the executive positions sexually harassing the junior male employees. Sexual harassment is detrimental to the organization as it results in low morale as well as demotivation of other employees. For instance, the victims that are sexually harassed become stressed and are thus less productive. Therefore, it is important for the organizations to acknowledge the problem of sexual harassment in their organization and put measures to stop the vice.

The organizational culture of any company is essential to fostering a positive public image. If a company embraces unethical behaviors that make some of the employees as well as the clients uncomfortable, then the productivity of the firm is bound to reduce. The employees will get demoralized by the poor culture and their level of job satisfaction and job enlargement will reduce. Consequently, the rate of employee turnover will increase hence affecting the efficiency of operations.
The Uber Company is a typical example of the firm that suffered from a poor organizational culture which involved sexism and misogyny ( Light, 2017) . Due to the “bad boy” culture of the firm, the level of employee motivation dropped and the public image of the firm was also tinted. To deal with the problem of the eroded organizational culture that was now on the public domain by 2017, the company hired Erick Holder to get the firm back on its track. Erick was an attorney general that was hired to undertake the cultural recovery task in the firm so as to bolster the development of a positive culture.
