Question 4

McDonaldization is based on the principle of the society adopting first food- restaurants. McDonaldization was founded on four principles including predictability, efficiency, control, and calculability. In predictability, McDonald is of idea that customers from any part of the world should be able to predict the food menu of McDonald. McDonald’s accountability principle suggests that the size and the weight of burger that one customer buys in one restaurant is always the same with the size and the weight that another customer buys in another restaurant. In McDonald, efficiency is defined by how fast the customers can transform from being hungry to being full. The last principle is control where human labor is supposed to be systematically replaced by non-human technologies.

Question 5
