The social movement that I would form will be tasked with the duty of ensuring that democracy is at the heart of leadership in all learning institutions in the country. The learning institutions will include mostly the high schools, colleges, and universities where students have attained the right age of understanding the tenets of democracy. As stated, social movements are defined as movements that address various aspects such as values, identities, and other improvements whose sole purpose is to improve the quality of life. Therefore, my movement will be tasked with enlightening these institutions to adhere to the rule of people by the people in choosing the leaders.
Over the past years, some learning institutions have preferred the selection of the student leaders which is viewed as an imposition. Such leaders are mostly puppets of the school administration and therefore do not represent the will of the people. Therefore, the movement will traverse all learning institutions organizing meetings with stakeholders, lecturers, and students in attempting to phase out the old system of leadership with a new method that is focused on democratically electing student leaders who will then represent the student body in various avenues and channels available.

In this regard, the movement also attempts to bring in the idea of the students' assemblies which can be used to air out various grievances which will be channeled to the elected leaders who will subsequently present them to the leaders. Such assemblies will give the students a voice and a legitimate power of identifying what most concerns them in the school without any fear of contradiction. All this will be geared towards improving the life of every individual in the institution through a legitimate representation.
