All the concerns mentioned are quite significant and inform a good choice when it comes to the construction and use of stadiums. However, I feel they are somewhat biased and inconclusive factors for considerations. While large stadiums generate higher revenue, this can be solely attributed to the size being able to hold a more substantial capacity of fans meaning higher ticket sales rather than prices as indicated. However, small stadiums also significantly generate equal income with regards to ticket prices, the distinguishing factor I believe is the quality of the event in the stadium for which individuals might be willing to pay more. Besides, regardless of whether a stadium is small or Large, modern designs and development techniques are more likely to allow expansion of any building, provided there is availability of space and resources. KPMG (2013) points out sustainability as one of the key factors for consideration in any modern real estate development. It provides alternatives for economical expansions and demolitions of buildings for improvement at any point in the course of the structure's lifetime. As such, small stadiums have as much potential for expansion as large stadiums.

While larger facilities earn more for ticket sales, smaller stadiums have the advantage of being able to host smaller sporting events or sport-related activities to which a larger stadium would impact a waste of resources. This gives it an advantage of diversity in application compared to large stadiums. In addition, smaller stadiums by virtue of being small, require much less financial resources for maintenance and renovation. According to the guide to quality stadiums as outlined by UEFA (2011), stadium maintenance and renovations from the design stage, through construction and its operation period, are critically included in development and budgeting plans. This, therefore, effectively ensures minimized depreciation of the property in the course of its lifetime.
