Sustainable development refers to the economic, social, and environmental aspects and needs of the international community. This concept aims at maintaining both economic advancement and progress while ensuring the protection of the environment for future generational use. 17 sustainable development goals are not too many in my opinion because of the knowledge that different countries' needs vary from the other. Therefore, the concept of the universal applicability of the SDGs by the United Nations is miscalculated.
The 2030 agenda is based on inclusivity for all with the set 17 SDGs. The vision to eradicate poverty amongst nations is a necessity for sustainable development to thrive (Morton, 2017) . Integration of the sustainable development goals and collaboratively working towards the realization of Agenda 2030 will translate to progressive developments in the next nine years (Anantachoke, 2018) . Creating a worldwide all-around individual whose needs are met within a conducive environment will ensure everyone thrives in different aspects.

The numerous challenges in the world today are contributing to the hindrance of Agenda 2030. Factors like extreme poverty, gender inequality, health threats, environmental degradation, and natural calamities among others. On the other hand, the opportunities in the global arena are also contributing to the acceleration of meeting the end goals with the collaboration of world leaders.
Sustainable development is important to me in the context of inclusivity for all people in the world, with the distribution of resources across the globe to ensure access by all. The knowledge that people from third-world countries will be able to enjoy modernity with reduced poverty levels is of importance. This will equally mean increased job opportunities for graduates, thus there is the surety of me securing a sustainable job related to my career.
