SWOT Analysis 

First, service providers should learn their patients’ condition to know how they will handle them efficiently. Factors such to put into consideration may include; sereneness of the complication, person’s reactions concerning his likes and dislikes among others. Understanding your patient helps to create a cohesive relationship with him, thus contributing to reduce cases of miscommunication, misunderstanding of information, and emotional atmosphere, thus being able to provide the services appropriately. Family members, charity organizations, private companies, and National Health Service Organizations are some of the core parties in ensuring patients receive these services. 

National Health Service organizations may play some roles in ensuring Dementia patients live a comfortable life. To mention, they may include; Guiding and counseling services. Guiding programs to be advocated include; accepting the condition, seeking regular medical attention to lower the sereneness and encouraging them to live a stress-free life. Through this, these patients will be able to have a sense of self-worth in the society. Provision of health services is also an important role that National Health Service Organizations can play in ensuring dementia patients live a good life. They may include blood pressure checkups, provision of insulin shots in case the patient is suffering from Alzheimer among others ( Somerville & Stainton, 2013) . Personal care such as; toilet services, helping them take showers and aiding them in making meals can also be provided to this patients through NHS centers.

Family members of the individuals with detrimental infection too have a significant role in helping them. There love to them is one of the key factors to put into consideration; this is because they can have a sense and feeling of family love despite their condition. When providing these services, they should handle them with humility and respectful language. Shouting and calling them bad names about the disease in case of miscommunications and misunderstanding, tends to irritate them hence leading them into depression. Different forms of love can also are exhibited through cooking for them, providing them with water to take a bath, directing them to their bedrooms when they forget, washing their clothes and engaging them in family practices such as prayers ( Somerville & Stainton, 2013) . There is a need to manage the patient's sleeping habits through the following strategies, taking to bed at the right time, ensuring they go to sleep when they have made their meals, provide a good lighting system in their rooms, and avoid giving them too much alcohol before going to bed. Family members can also know how to handle their patients' infections related to memory loss through; setting up emergency phone numbers at designated points, labeling of doors and other useful house items, and giving them short notes to serve as their memo. Family members can also contribute cash to the patients’ treatment and ensure he takes regular treatments as required. There is a need to keep patients records appropriately. They serve as reference sites concerning tracking his health progress. 

Charity organizations also have a role in ensuring the life of individuals with dementia infection is taken care of. Some of the gift programs may include the following; Formation of guiding and counseling seminars which allow infected people to come and seek information related to their disease. These groups also guide these people on how to live and cope with the problem well in the societies, thus promoting their lives. Provision of charity items is also another service that can be offered by Charity organizations; they include foodstuff, shelter to those who lack places to stay and clothing. Charity organizations do not end at this point regarding service provisions. However, they go further to raise funds to cater for their needs, teach them how to cope with their disease in the society among others. 

Communication is relevant, above all the regular services. These people tend to endure difficulties in terms; listening, the proper pronunciation of words and following of the conversations; therefore, there is a need to understand how to convey your message when handling them. Some of the best techniques of communication may include; avoid asking them too many questions since they tend to get irritated fast. The best option is to ask them questions with short answers such as yes or no. Use simple language in cases where he faces difficult in getting spoken words, also try to speak slowly ( Somerville & Stainton, 2013) . Maintenance of eye contact on the person is also an excellent technique to apply; this is because he will be able to focus his minds on you thus affecting the process of communication. Involving the person in the conversation is also another important factor to put into practice; it can be through assisting them in completing sentences, and correcting their pronunciation.

Governments also have a role to play in the provision of services concerning the dementia individuals. First, they have to ensure there are enough hospitals, doctors, and health advisors in their nations to ensure the patients receive quality services ( Somerville & Stainton, 2013) . Providing the named services are not the end of their role, they equip the hospitals with required medicines and cut on prices of acquiring them. The governments can also arrange for training and development programs, guiding and counseling programs where the infected parties can seek medical advice concerning the improvement of their health. 

Social Consequences 

The social implications that may result from dementia may include the following; losing of friends. Your close friends tend to distant themselves from you. This is because they are not able to accommodate your condition or feel they are in danger of contracting. This can go up to the extent of being alienated from your family. There are cases of mockery in some situations. 

Economic implications 

First, the economy tends to face pressure in terms of infrastructures such as hospitals, increased costs attributed to importations of patients’ drugs, high pressure on the need to recruit more doctors and high costs related to providing basic needs to them. The economy at large ends up retarding concerning its daily activities, thus resulting in deterioration regarding the production of goods and services ( Somerville & Stainton, 2013) . Low levels of production may also be incurred due to the government’s high concentration on providing services to these patients instead of engaging in daily productive practices of the Nation. Their unproductiveness tends to create the need to train other persons to fill their job positions which are too expensive, thus creating economic disparity in the society. 

Conclusion 

Dementia is a chronic mental illness that when not taken care of may result affecting a person’s brain and his family too. Cognitive effects include; problem in remembering one’s home place, lack of good concentration and difficulty in memorizing new things, psychological impacts include; depression, having mood swings and living with frustration. Behavioral problems include; showing inappropriate behaviors and being overactive in the environment. Functional complications may include enduring slow reactions, loss or skills required in verbal communication, unsafely keeping of house appliances such as gas and boiling kettles ( Somerville & Stainton, 2013). t his is a conclusive indication that there is a need to know how to handle people living with this disease appropriately. This research paper has given detailed information about the same in the earlier paragraphs. 

Supporting people with dementia is one of best action individuals in the society need to implement. This act gives these characters a good atmosphere and a sense of belonging to their respective backgrounds. However, the support remains independent. The society as a whole should accept and accommodate these patients, show them love and care they need, and direct them towards hope for life. Factors and actions that may lead to the creation of anxiety and depression amongst them should be discouraged. Strategies that can help in coping with dementia may be categorized as; social strategy, emotional strategies, practical strategies and health improvement strategy.
