Healthcare systems are today dispersed across massive environments and have been rendering the IT components technical and complex. It is expected that the systems are fast available and productive and to be protected and safe from the breach. The challenges of the unorganized service and the non-adherence of the information technology, as well as the security measures, are not only assessed in dollars spent but in the number of lives that have been helped. The technical and critical propositions, it is important to efficiently fulfill the missions of the facility that is to provide quality and timely care to the patients. Because the systems management in the healthcare settings is today a significant achievement in the facility, this paper aims at identifying the current issues affecting these systems and propose solutions to these issues.

One of the major concerns with the systems management is being updated on the recovery from disaster and the security standards. The adhering and safety problems have at many occasions kept the IT experts with the healthcare organizations up at night, and it has often been for better reasons. When the systems in the healthcare do not meet the current requirements by HIPPA of securing the data of the patients, there is a resulting penalty and a loss of public confidence where sometimes the accused can end up in jail. The critical issue is the fact that the maintenance of the compliance and making sure the data is secured is usually complicated and time-consuming (Mendoza, 2017). The proposed solution for such a case is that there should be a concise visibility and supervision over the machines in the facility as these offers the IT personnel better chance to identify and prevent security breaches and data loss. The healthcare IT professionals should also have an online repository that will be auditing the information where updates are automated. The latter will allow the experts to know the exact position of the patient’s data on the network and who is accessing them and by what means.

Another key concern is whether the existing systems management functions are integrated. The sharp point items can always help in being at the peak of the patch initiatives, the extra storage and safety plans. However, it has been determined that they are not integrated, and they do not provide a comprehensive display of the IT sector, and this leads to a silo management plan that is repetitive and is also not efficient. The solution to such an issue is that implementing an integrated solution will consolidate the desperate management functionality on a single plane of glass and it will give the experts an instant capture of the nature of the system within reach of connectivity and also the elements to initiate the transformation. The ability to monitor and update the system, maintain, backing up and securing the machines from a sole management console will automate the repetitive and the manual administration needed, and it will eliminate the need to work around and integrate issues (Goater, Derne & Weinstein, 2011).

It is also a challenge with the systems management to conduct a fast and efficient audit when needed. The health care sector often relies on the fast and seamless availability of the data of the patients to give quality and timely assistance and the conditions can transform fast. The options made regarding the performance capacity will require a faster implementation. Sequentially, the legal institutions are frequently asking questions that will make sure the health facility is working within the requirements of HIPPA and dozens of other regulations. Thus, the administration needs to gain sight of the audit record and the reports promptly when needed. The visibility into the distribution system will allow the experts to have the transparency needed into the IT environment and it will help in making the procurements decision, and alert systems can be implemented to define the systems that are almost reaching their capacity or those that need to be upgraded. The information can as well be gathered and be applied in populating easy-to-read inventory reports where you can float knowledge-wise to health care managers and the auditors. Rather than the long time that will be taken to compile an audit, the information can be accessed at the finger tips easily (Briš & Keclíková, 2012).

Systems management requires the It professionals at the healthcare to be alert at all times and to be informed about all the advanced changes in technology. Information technology has been an important shift in the healthcare as it has been found to be characterized by better services and improved performances in the healthcare. However, it is also characterized by particular challenges due to its technical nature, and it requires the health care facilities to have IT expects to be monitoring the system and make the necessary changes and advances as they occur. If the IT experts are updated regarding technology and its associated challenges, they can easily handle the current issues in the systems management and assure the healthcare providers of quality and improved services in the facility.
