Teamwork is instrumental in the achievement of a group’s objectives in a given project. As a team recorder, my roles are diversified, but all of them positively influence team goals. Some of my roles are taking notes and noting down the group’s decisions (Griffith & Dunham, 2014). Another function is contributing to the consolidation of notes by other leaders in the group, such as the facilitator and reflector (Richardson & Andersen, 1995). Therefore, with this, my role extends into ensuring team collaboration and facilitating making sense of the different undertakings by the group, hence, positively reinforcing planning and the decision-making process in a group.
