Introduction
The 17 November also dubbed N 17 is identified as a Greek radical terror and an armed leftist group which has been in existence for close to forty years. The revolutionary group has been responsible for immense acts of homicide against various countries including America, Athens, Greece, and Czechoslovak. History and political analysts confirm that the group has a small number of members which is probably the main reasons as to why they were in a position to implement their acts secretly and efficiently for the period they have been in existence without being tracked by the authorities.
According to Andrew Corsun (2008), 7 November is one of the most dangerous indigenous terror groups that ever existed and functioned in West Europe during the reign of Adolph Hitler. Some of their significant ideologies were focused on the need to out-do the NATO, Americans, Capitalism, and imperialism. The name of the group was acquired from the Polytechnic uprising on the final day in Athens, 1973. It was during this time that a protest against the Greek Militia group that was also referred as the Colonels took place. The 7 N were responsible for many attacks posing a threat to the countries from which its victims came from. For instance, for a long time, America had blacklisted the 7N as a horrific terrorist group after they gunned down Richard Welch, a US Diplomat who resided in Athens. Moreover, the group was responsible for more attacks that claimed 23 lives with numerous injuries.

Corsun compares the 7N to other hardcore European terrorist groups like Germany’s Red Army Faction – RAF who were efficient in accomplishing their attacks despite the minimal number of members. On the other hand, it is suspected that the 7N was probably formed by university students during the 70s and were the ones responsible for the fall of the military junta which resulted to the loss of many other individuals and others incarcerated for life by the colonel regime.
From the article, it is evident that incidences of rebellion and the quest to overrule an existing regime has been a norm for a long time in various countries. It is also clear that ideologies presented by various groups of people may differ with what is provided by the authorities resulting in protests. On the other hand, such protests are mostly meant to defy what the authorities have implemented and for the same reason, they will use anything to their power to ensure that rebellious acts from the citizens fail. The ability of the 7N group to exist for a long time and successfully is denoted by the small number of members who made decisions through consultation rather than dependence on an individual. America blacklisting the 7N as a terrorist group was resolved in the resent year after the Czech government imprisoned some of the key gang members. While this move would be considered a success to the government, it is unreasonable to imply that a terror group that has been in existent for close to forty decades has not influenced other citizens with their ideologies or recruited new members. Therefore, while it may have tried to incarcerate members who were probably a menace, chances are high that over the years other individuals were impacted and are still on the loose.
Conclusion
The intentions of the 7N have not been clearly outlined despite their anti-America, anti-NATO, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialism that were displayed from the series of killings of individuals from the mentioned categories. Furthermore, as a group, their activities were not only a threat to their government but the citizens and other foreign countries affecting the relationships of these nations. From the analysis, governance on a smaller group of individuals can be efficient and powerful for as long as the decisions and plans are agreed among the members.
