It offers its services both local and international in a quicker and timely manner, which is something the customers are looking for (Lucas, 2012). Therefore, its ability to meet customer satisfaction both at local and global levels has enhanced its competitiveness in the business world.
The management decisions to improve services since the inception of the company has made a significant impact on customer service from UPS. For instance, it has contributed to the company becoming a leading supply chain management globally. It has adopted the technological advancements that has improved its service delivery to its customers both locally and globally thus enhancing its effectiveness (Lucas, 2012).
The positive aspects about the company that have contributed to its worldwide success and reputation include it is customer oriented, offers excellent services, its adoption of technological advancement, and it offers its services based on market changes (Lucas, 2012). I would certainly want to work with a company like UPS because it will offer me an opportunity for career growth. I would be able to learn a lot and grow and push me towards climbing a corporate ladder.
