Therefore, one makes a list of all ingredients and makes sure they are available, laying them on the kitchen table each for better preparation.

Challenges/Mistakes
When preparing the food, I found myself omitting some instructions and made assumptions before thoroughly reading the recipe. To avoid this, I realized I had to understand the steps in the recipe for full preparation while cooking.
Tastes and Flavors
My favorite taste in the lab was almonds. They have a rich, crunchy taste, unlike regular peanuts. However, t here were no new flavors, tastes, or spices that were new to me.
Culinary Creative License
There are many ways of modifying the quinoa cake recipe. One could add lime or lemon, capers, hummus, or eggplant. Adding the lime or lemon and capers gives the dish a zesty, rich flavor. Capers contain an earthy, salty taste and they perfectly blend with the lemon zest. The hummus is also good at binding the ingredients before cooking the patties. Additionally, one can also add a spice blend that contains paprika, ground cumin, chili, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried ginger, and white pepper, as well as dried turmeric.
