After meeting with the hiring manager at our site, I had a few questions regarding the interview process. The aim was to find answers about his best and worst interview experiences. The first question I asked was how many candidates does he interview every month. According to the human resource manager, the number of applicants depends on a few factors. One significant factor includes the number of applicants who applied for the job (Turczynski, 2021) . On average, the human resource manager may interview 6-10 candidates for a position, and candidates may go for 2-3 rounds before getting an offer.

The second question I asked was about his key areas of recruiting in the company. The human resource manager responded by saying that he recruits for all positions in accounting. The accountant job position involves preparing tax returns and auditing financial information. According to the human resource manager, most of these job positions are usually announced when there is a vacancy.

The third question was whether he had memorable experiences during the interview process. The HR responded by informing me that he experiences both good and bad moments when interviewing his candidates (Turczynski, 2021) . The HR told me that he interviewed a candidate to prepare and maintain financial reports and found the person had impeccable talent and interpersonal skills. The HR was happy that the candidate answered his questions confidently: therefore qualifying for the job position.

The fourth question was about his worst experience. The HR informed me that he had terrible experiences during the interview process. Such bad experiences are when a candidate does not focus by constantly checking on their phones or coming to interviews with informal dressing.

The last question I asked was whether he would allow a candidate to use their phone and come in informal dressing during the interview process. The HR responded by saying that candidates should take the interview seriously so that they may qualify. According to the human resource manager, checking on phones shows that a candidate is not interested in the job.
