Nurse practitioners are exposed to several job opportunities that emerge in the society as primary care providers, volunteers in nursing homes, school nursing, accident and emergency care centers among others. There are several job opportunities in nursing that have currently been advertised (Kulig, Moffitt & Zimmer, 2015). Among them are; Registered nurses (RN), Pediatric nurses, and Geriatric nurses. There is urgent demand for these groups of nurses almost in every hospital due to the vital role they play in their designated areas of duty.

Registered nurses (RN) are people who organize and provide patients’ medication. They also educate the patients and general public about good health practices. They encourage sick patients undergoing medication with necessary support and give advice to their relatives. The required registered nurses are supposed to have a minimum of three years’ experience from a medium sized hospital. The nurse roles would include assisting physicians in all healthcare settings from patients’ wards, emergency rooms, theatre to intensive care units. Educational requirements include BSN degree in nursing with an additional practical training of one year. They should also be in possession State Nursing License (Buerhaus, Dittus & Donelan, 2015). The compensation for the job group is 72000 dollars on annual basis.
