Intangible assets such as human, information, and organizational capital play a critical role in the success of any organization. An organization needs to effectively use the assets to succeed and gain a competitive advantage in the market ( Champoux, 2010) . However, the human asset is the most important to my organization, which is Coca-Cola Company. The company believes that it cannot succeed without its human resources or employees who are popularly known as associates. As a result, the company strives to hire the best experts in the labor market while at the same time retaining them through some motivational techniques. Besides, the company has many employee growth and development programs. For instance, it is using Coca-Cola University (CCU) to train its employees. Consequently, Coca-Cola has consistently been ranked as one of the most attractive employers in the whole world. For instance, in 2014, LinkedIn ranked Coca-Cola as one of the best places to work. Therefore, the human asset is the most important intangible asset for Coca-Cola.
Also, I believe that information is the most difficult intangible asset to manage out of the three, especially in the 21 st century that is characterized by advanced information technology. Currently, information is mainly stored in digital form and employees must have appropriate information literacy skills to use information effectively. End-users must also interact with technologies such as computers to obtain their information needs ( Makori, 2009) . At the same time, the rate of information hacking is common in the modern world. Consequently, it is easier for unauthorized persons to access confidential and sensitive information and use it against the organization or individuals ( Lientz, 2010) . Cyber-attacks make it challenging to manage information in the modern world. Therefore, organizations should be strategic in managing sensitive and confidential information.
