Employee’s motivation increases production level in an organization. Compensation is a factor which increases the level of employee’s motivation. This, therefore, means that a corporate policy which enhances motivation is a key to improved organization production. A student presents a compensation policy which rewards employees inform of a competitive based salary, annual bonus incentives and robust benefits package. This compensation is based on equity and pay for performance philosophy. The policy has a midpoint, maximum and maximum level salary of all employees. The employee performance will be the determinant factor on the incentives compensation scale. This proposed compensation policy is both Egalitarian and Libertarian since it enhances equity for compensation regardless of an employee's level and also empowers individual employees to work and increase their salaries.
The compensation policy suggested by the student has some similarities and differences based on what I know. First, they both depend on the employees’ rate of performance. However, the difference is that on my compensation policy, the workers are paid based on some of the factors which they expose themselves to such as illicit drugs use. Another similarity is that both the student's proposal and what I know are both based on the fact that each employee has to be compensated and also there are grades where each of the employees falls for compensation. However, in my perception, other employees such as managers are paid on fixed rate while others such as frontlines have flexible compensation scale.

The policy proposed by the student is efficient and can work well with the employees since equity is granted and compensation package is granted for all. Based on what I know about the merit-based compensation policy, though the students' plan is perfect and practicable in reality, it only strengthened my ethics but did not change it because there are a lot of similarities between my policy and the student’s policy of compensation.
