Organizational behavior is any work-related actions in a company. Organizational behavior tends to understand how workmates in an organization related to each other and the company itself. An organization always aims at using human behavior in a positive way (Bhattacharyya, 2016). The study of Organizational behavior helps the understanding why different individuals act in a certain way. Likewise, organizational behavior plays a significant role in the motivating process of employees. The study plays a crucial role in identifying the crisis in a company and determining the appropriate solution and any risks associated with the answer. Since the research focuses on human action, it also helps to predict and control any human behavior. In this paper, I am going to look at a real-life situation and relate it to organizational behavior. Also, I will analyze the three primary concepts in organizational behavior and explain them clearly. I will also give a reflecting analysis on the whole topic, what critical issues that can enhance leadership in the organizations.

An insight by Magda Donia (23-32) indicates that supervisors in organizations understand various acts by their employees. The human behavior, according to Magda Donia, the supervisor knows a committed and motivated employee to work for the organization and has the company's interest at heart who exclusively wants to make positive strides in their career. Donia (23-32) even went ahead and researched the supervisor's ability to differentiate between the two types of employees in a Banking organization in Pakistan. The study confirmed that most supervisors indeed knew which workers were doing it for the team rather personal selfish interests (Uhl-Bien, Schermerton, Osborn, 2014). The study also demystifies any notion that awarding or punishing of subordinates by the management is never judged wrongly.

This event shows clearly that without organizational behavior, the managers may not have studied their employees well to know the good ones. From the fact we have seen, the supervisor's primary concern is with the employees' commitment to the company (Donia, 2015). The organizational behavior approach intersected to the event helps the supervisor to study the behaviors of all employees in relation with the company.

The primary concepts of organizational behavior relate well to the event. In this world today, no single individual thinks the same as another (Miner, 2015). Every individual is different unique in their way that is why some individuals in the organization have different ambitions. The employees should not face any form of discrimination or bias judgment from the employer (Uhl-Bien, Schermerton, Osborn, 2014). The biases in an organization explain why one employee would want to give it all for the greater good of the company while another only cares about his or her career and not the organization's future.

Additionally, the employees' personal life cannot be separated from the intellectual ability he or she possesses (Uhl-Bien, Schermerton, Osborn, 2014). Even though when an employee gets hired into an organization, mostly is to tap his or her expertise on the field of the question but the employee has to work as a whole person. Many emotional distractions may come into play distracting the employee's performance in the organization.

The nature of the organization also indicates various opportunities that the firm is offering and the company's general character. For the company to award appraisals and rewards to the employees, it has to examine the employees' performance keenly, and the employees workload in the firm (Uhl-Bien, Schermerton, Osborn, 2014). If the employee does not prioritize the company's interests over his, then the performance rate will fail to appeal to the employer. Also, some employees take the active role in the process of making various decisions. The employees want always to share an important detail that can benefit the organization (Miner, 2015). From the event above, the employees that do not care about the company will not have the urge to take part in any decision making the process for the company. The unwillingness of employees to take part in the organization's decision-making process will have a negative impact on the company since the employees will never contribute ideas that may prove beneficial to the organization.

From this assignment, I have come to understand that organizational behavior plays a crucial role in any organization. OB leads to well-built relationships between the managers and the employees in the company (Uhl-Bien, Schermerton, Osborn, 2014). When employees have a good relationship with the employers, they will connect well leading to constructive discussions towards achieving the firm's goals (Robbins & Judge, 2014). Also, organizational behavior makes it easy for managers to handle a diverse workforce. An organization with people from different cultures needs a tolerant and understanding management, a management that takes time to understand their workers and accept their differences.

I was surprised that in organizations, supervisors had sufficient knowledge about all their worker's behavior and they could tell employees who gave it all for the company from those that did not — also the fact that organizational behavior through employee motivation affects performance levels in an organization. When the employee behavior is well analyzed, the firm's leadership can monitor the employees' progress and address any accomplishment or failure (Luthans et al., 2015). The classical theory management, in this case, is effective in that it addresses the employee's physical need and not his or her social lack.

In conclusion, organizational behavior is fundamental in any organization since it helps the management of a firm to study the employees' behavior and do a relevant analysis on the same. Employee's performance is affected by the various actions of workers in the organization. By determining the employee performance, the employers with the aid of Organizational behavior can reward employees. The different of people and the way they think is also a significant point we learn from Organizational Behavior.
