This is a concept that the nursing fraternity is entirely conversant with. Nursing duties rarely have resting days, since the care of patient is done at all times. Besides the necessary leave and off-days that all employees are entitled to, nurses keep working for the longest hours. In other words it is safe to asset that the working hours of a nurse are determined by the needs of the patients rather that the conventional working schedules. Considering the limitation of sickness, such as movement, inability to eat, cleanliness and even loneliness, the nurse becomes ever important in her service to the patient.
