Direct Democracy is a form of Democracy, and it differs from the dictatorship form of government, for instance, Monarchy. Direct Democracy is a form of Democracy in which people vote on policy initiatives directly and people have choice to create the rules of the governance and other regulations. Direct Democracy turns the will of the people instantly into public policy ( Partington, 2018) . On the other hand, Monarchy is a form of government in which sovereignty is nominally or embodied in a single person, the monarch, and exercises absolute power and often formulates laws that are meant to suppress competition ( Partington, 2018) . The ruler does not hold responsibility for the want of the people, and there is no citizen participation in the government.

A Theocracy is a form of government-operated by officials regarded as divinely guided or divine guidance. God himself is the theoretical "head of the state," and the state is ruled by analogous religious leadership or a church ( Baturo, 2016) . They have a spiritual leader as the head of the government, firm in their beliefs, and are led by a set of religious teachings. A state that has adopted Islam is an Islamic state, its foundation for laws or political institutions, and the Islamic ruling system is implemented. People in this state are excluded from public lives who are not members of the established religion, and there is no distinction between religion and citizenship, politicians and priests, and no difference between religious law and secular law ( Baturo, 2016) . A small group makes choices on behalf of the people. In contrast, the constitutional republic government has a constitution and consists of branches that divide the power of the government and makes sure there is no superior branch than the others. Citizens take part by electing representatives that govern according to the existing constitutional law where government power is limited over its citizens, and what works best for people is considered ( Baturo, 2016)

A one-party system of government is where a country is ruled by a single political party. Although other political parties are forbidden from being formed, some states have many political parties, but only one that can by law is in charge ( Baturo, 2016) . There is an eroding of Democracy and dictatorship emerges and no freedom of expression. This result in the government being absolute and irresponsible administration and citizens' rights and liberties are curtailed, but the multiparty system, the single-party leadership, is prevented from being in control of a single legislative chamber ( Baturo, 2016) . The multiparty system allows a variety and more choices of opinions to be heard and initiation of any meaningful change is enhanced by citizens, civil society, and media.

These forms of government have very few similarities as they are identified as forms of governance. Direct Democracy, constitutional republic, and multiparty system government can be useful or infective depending on factors involving a particular person in authority, which is similar to Monarchy, single party, and theocracy government. These forms of government are effectively designed to control the people.

The power structure of any state and power source are used to categorize Forms of government and have differences and similarities due to the concept of government, political systems, the methodology used, and citizen participation, including Democratic governments, and Non-Democratic governments. The citizen participation, political systems, the concept of governance, and methodology used helps to evaluate the effectiveness of the governing system to its citizens. Democratic forms of government are the best because it gets things are done that are important for the country, and voting maintains control and peace.
