Different perception of health care interactions depends on one patient’s age to another. Several stages of life are in concern with the system of health. Babies, and the toddlers are individuals in special stage of life that need a requisite approach when seeking medical attention. There is the kid's health, the teens, adults, and the elderly. The stage of life primarily affects how one interacts with health care professionals. Kendra Stamp is 60 years of age and finds difficulty in communicating with health care professionals. That is because communication at that stage of life is complicated. Health care professionals find it challenging to understand what Kendra explains to be a health problem. In the long run, the alternative solution is carrying out several medical tests to determine the illness. That stage of life is a complicated one as the individual is prone to all forms of diseases because the body is becoming weaker. There are instances that Kendra says misdiagnosis may take place as the professionals fail to establish the suffering she is going through. Individuals from different stages of life encounter various forms of treatment from healthcare professionals based on the ease of explaining the symptoms for efficient diagnosis.

The elderly, when in hospitals, provide the clinicians with evidence-based information for appropriate strategies to be used that will reduce their decline in hospitals. The blood pressure, heart attack, and diabetic areas in the hospital were most concerned with the well-being of Kendra. That is because the elderly suffers from such kind of diseases as individuals from other stages of life. Thus, the diabetic and heart center are areas of attraction for individuals in the elderly phase of the life cycle. From the interview, Kendra was escorted to the hospital during the outpatient visit. For the elderly stage of life, there is a need to provide them with emotional and physical support when seeking medical attention from health care professionals. Equally, when speaking to the expert, family members play a vital role in explaining the health condition of the patient. That makes the diagnosis easy and more accurate. Kendra stipulates that when accompanied by family members, she receives her treatment appropriately and get all the assistance that she needs.

Family members are the ones who spend the majority of the time with an individual in the elderly stage of life. Thus, in most instances, they are aware of the health background of the patient and the physical symptoms they encounter. That makes it easy for the professionals to offer practical and efficient medical treatment to the patient. For persons in such a stage of life, the family members are usually included to make the diagnosis effective. Equally, they can assist in the provision of the medical history of the patient. More so, the family members are relevant in the post-procedure instructions. Such includes instructions that will enable the members of the family to take care of the patient in case she suffers from an emergency that will need quick attention. They include swelling procedures where a bag of ice is used for a period of 12 hours to reduce the swelling. Diet vomiting and bleeding are the other post-procedure instructions. In the case of bleeding, the individual is supposed to bite on a gaze for a period of 30 minutes. The procedure will reduce the bleeding and will act as a first aid care before the patient seeks advance medical attention from the hospital.
