Over the past few decades, the rate in which allergic diseases are exhibiting among the population has gradually increased. However, the manifestation of allergic conditions would vary depending on factors such as variations in weather and exposure to causative factors of allergies. According to the description made by the patient, the possible allergic condition affecting the patient is asthma. The varied manifestation of Asthmatic allergy is generally attributed to variations in weather changes other than genetic factors (Meurs et al., 2019). Changes in microbiological exposure cause rapid manifestation of an allergic condition such as asthma. However, the genetic predisposition of the patients influences the development of credible prevention measures.

The Treatment Options to Apply To the Patient

The treatment plan that suits the patient focuses on the prevention of any possible manifestation of the diagnosed Asthma condition. The patient history available and the type of medication that was previously administered on the patient strongly suggests that the level of the Asthma condition s mild (Lawrence et al,. 2018). The most economical treatment for the above-stated condition involves the use of long-term beta-agonists medication on the patient. The correct prescription for the patient would, therefore, be formoterol nebulizers (Perforomist) to allow the patients to survive through the prospected weather condition.

Comparison of the First and the Second-Generation Antihistamines

The existing similarity between first and second-generation antihistamines is both have to influence centralized effects on allergic patients. However, first-generation (H1) antihistamines function by effecting high central effects. The phenomenon qualifies first-generation antihistamines as sedatives (Boonpiyathad et al,. 2020). On the contrary, the centralized effect of second-generation antihistamines have a less centralized response on patients, and the phenomenon qualifies them as primary anti-allergic.

The Education I Would Give To the Patient

I would advise the patient that the use of formoterol nebulizers (Perforomist), which are prescribed in his or her condition, should be taken alongside corticosteroids (Boonpiyathad et al,. 2020). The effect of the long-term beta-agonists medication is improved by supplementing them with corticosteroids.
