The conception of ethics is a highly complex issue and not only comprises individual thinking but as well personal feelings. Moral or ethical responsibility, guide human decisions in various areas like the happenings within a place of work. When a person is performing as a worker, there are specific moral responsibilities he/she has towards the employer that ought to steer their resolution making and affects his actions. An employment association is a legal relationship that is created among an employer and employee when work is accomplished for financial compensation (Lombardo, 2018). Both the employer and employee have obligations and tasks towards each other in ensuring that the association is triumphant and morally significance. 

A1. Employees' rights and responsibilities in the workplace 

When a person is performing as an employee, there are specific moral responsibilities he/she has in the workplace and that ought to guide his resolution making.

In the course of specific performance checkups on personnel, frequent completion of usual assessments and other work performance verifications, administrators cannot keep all staff under watch at the same time (Schreiner, 2011). In cases like this, some personnel could choose to put lesser effort into their job when they are not being observed. In such a situation the employee is not ethically performing their responsibilities as they are not giving full effort to their work at all times. 

Honesty 

Employees who are at all times honesty are responsible. Employees are consistent in offering truthful facts in their workplace aid the employer to make informed resolutions. Being truthful without failure could be challenging, specifically when telling a little lie can assist a person to progress within the present position, nevertheless, honesty is not the merely best rule, but it is the morally appropriate route on which all personnel ought to retain. 

Good Remuneration 

Employees are and entitled to good compensation in relation to their efforts in an organization. 

Loyalty 

An employee is expected to demonstrate a commitment to the employer and the organization. The loyalty could take various forms, including not bad talking the employer, not sharing institution statistics and evading work from outside that poses a conflict of interest. It is not only a constitutional obligation but as well an ethical obligation to keep statistics private and not to share with outside sources. Even though the pressures of individual interest are very strong and compelling, both personnel and administrators must guide their decisions by basic moral standards. 

Openness 

For employees to be happy, they need not feel intimidated by the employer, but instead, there ought to be openness amongst the employer and personnel. The entire personnel should be empowered and permitted to report issues and challenges. The situation offers an ethical atmosphere, and in turn, makes personnel feel that their thoughts and outlooks are essential. 

Personnel Wellbeing 

Employers need to guard the well-being of an organization and make significant business choices that will maintain the safety of the personnel. The moral responsibilities towards personnel could include a proper remuneration, gives health assistance, as well as the better operational environment. Another essential wellbeing is treating personnel as essential partakers in an institution (Lombardo, 2018). For employees’ welfare, it is not only a question of fair remuneration and better working environment, but there also should be a genuine enduring consideration for employees' well-being. Whereas the welfare of the personnel must be maintained the prevailing concern for an ethical employer is eager to make choices and implement regulations in a way that shows an actual concern, even when there are links to costs which affect profitability. There should be loyalty to employees by the employer. 

A3. Ethical business dilemma 

You are working in a sales company, and it is at the end of the month, and you are short of your sales objectives of selling two hundred dairy products a month. There is an elderly customer who comes into your workplace, and he is searching to purchase products similar to what you are selling but with a minimal difference in contents. As you very well understand if you do not want labor hard on this sale, you may not get your target, and because you fell short of your target last month there is an extra demand to accomplish and meet your target. When a senior man is uncertainly looking at your product you hurriedly tell him that it is the same product he is looking for. He looked confused but says okay buys the product and leaves your place of work. Even though the old man was reluctant to buy the product as he seemed to understand it was the product he was looking for, you were able to utilize trivial of words to get his consent you sell the product to him, and you are now few steps closer to your monthly target. 

The circumstances are unethical as they violate the honesty outlined between the business and the customers. It breaches the obligation you made to your employer to operate in a manner which is in line with organization values. It is as well not ethical as deceitful techniques were utilized to get acceptance from the old man in buying your product. 

A4. Dilemma utilitarian and relativistic perspective 

The utilitarian concept states that one could verify the ethical value of an accomplishment by the impacts of that deed (Baert, 2016). In the personal dilemma on A3, the deeds side with the utilitarian point of observation. The use of deceitful methods was used to make the sales and meet the monthly target. Relativism concept states that there is no correct or incorrect apart from the terms of customs or the social order (Baert, 2016). By living in the same customs and community with the old man, the actions were ethically incorrect. It would be up to customs and community to outline if it believes in more economic or ethical standards. 

A5. Common ethical decisions that reflect corporate ethics and responsibilities 

Conducting individual dealings on company time 

Employees are most of the time faced with the challenge of conducting individual business in the corporate time. Employees are often tempted to perform personal business on company time as most of their time is spent in the workplace (Rafner, 2010). This moral dilemma is evident as an exploitation of the employers to perform individual dealing on company's occasion. 

Harassing conducts 

Employees most of the times are faced with the challenge in behaviors of harassment of their fellow employees by other employees. This is because there is a conflict of interest as they might be worried about their work in any attempt of reporting harassment.

Conducting individual dealings on company time 

Employees tend to spend company time on individual undertakings which may include a doctor's appointment on organization telephone lines, internet connection or making calls of personal business on company occasion. The moral dilemma is apparent as ill-treatment of an employer’s time to carry out individual dealings (Rafner, 2010). However, some of the dealings are significant, like calls on the wellbeing of children, doctor's appointment and other essential personal emergencies. Therefore there is the need for a worker to confirm with the administrator or human resource director for clarification on what reckons as an actionable felony in the organization and to be advised accordingly on how to conduct in case of such emergencies. 

Harassing conducts 

Frequently personnel's don't know how to act in case they saw one of their fellow workers being harassed, either sexually, physically or psychologically. Personnel could worry about their work if they endeavor to report a manager or higher person for abuse. They could worry that they will be outlined as troublemakers if they tell of fellow workers who show improper conducts toward other workers. The appropriate manner of resolving this ethical dilemma is the responsibility of the staff associates who develop organization's personal guide. It is their responsibility to include specific guidelines that outlines of workers won't be punished for giving reports on conducts of harassment or other improper deeds of their fellow workers. Every member should be made to know and understand the regulations and the results of violating them.
