The Existence of God: Questions for Believers and Atheists

The question as to whether God exists is a complex one as so many arguments can get brought forth to argue both and against and for this notion. However, some reasons drive Christians to believe in the existence of God, and some of them are as follows: The most apparent of the reasons is that the world (earth) is too complex and perfect to have been just a scientific process. Christians argue that there must have been a creator who made the earth with an intention in mind and for a reason (Ake, 2009) . Secondly, the most obvious question an individual should ask is that the planet must have had a beginning? And what caused that beginning? The Bible provides a simple and clear explanation of the origin of the earth, and how God created all that is in it, however, science does not give an apparent reason for the course of creation, and this makes Christians believe in the existence of a God. Third and lastly, the Universe has a unique set of rules that it follows such as the different physics principles that get applied daily to sustain life on the planet, the question then arises science that brilliant? 

On the other side, individuals who do not believe in the existence of a God, such Individuals who do not believe in the presence of God get termed as Atheists, and some of their reasons are as stated below. One of the fundamental attributes of God is omniscience; however, how can a God who has never lived in a human body know all experiences that human beings go through. A good example is, does he understand how sin feels like from a first-person perspective or from seeing individuals that have sinned (Ake, 2009) ? The second reason why some individuals believe God does exist is that God has never made himself visible to any human and we do not have a drawing or material written by God directly, additionally, scientists have gone up the sky, and the possibility of the existence of heaven somewhere in the atmosphere has gotten out ruled.

However, it is critical to note that all individuals are entitled to their own beliefs and what a person chooses to believe in entirely up to them, for this reason, I decided to be a Christian, and I am a firm believer in God and all the Christian teachings. Individuals rarely get the opportunity to select a faith they want to belong to as they are born and brought up from families that already had a religion, and they have no choice but to comply. However, the law allows for the freedom to choose one's faith, and no individual should get victimized for their personal preferences.
