As the demand for quality health care increase worldwide, there is a need to put pressure on nursing education to produce competitive and skilled professionals. Since I began my course in the field of nursing, my knowledge and experience have improved over the years. The nursing course starts with an introduction to the field of nursing taught under the course "Fundamentals in Nursing," which is the foundation of all nurses. The course covers topics on the history of nurses, theories, basic nursing skills, broad view of the nursing process and application, evidence-based research, and many more ( Potter et al., 2016) . From the first class, my knowledge in nursing and has changed, especially after taking various practices on patients care. Today, I can comfortably guide patients in ADLs (the activity of daily living) like bathing, preparing the bed, making sure the room is not cluttered, and other basics required by diverse patients.

Although I have gained adequate experience in nursing, my primary concern is that I lack experience in the insertion of Intravenous Cannulation (IV), which is crucial for nursing practitioners. Also, I lack adequate experience in working in an Emergency Room or other units of the hospital. These experiences are essential for nursing students as they transition to nursing graduates. Since I have adequate theories on these programs, I only require to be allowed into the facility with guidance for a few days to perfect my skills. With the information I have from course work, I am confident that when I get hired in a hospital or healthcare facility, I will get the required training that I need with IV insertion and everything else needed in the emergency care unit.

Students who have already begun the nursing course and those who aspire to become nurses should know that a nursing career is not a walk in the path. Those who want to become nurses should have art in it, and the profession should be in one's heart. Nursing career is time-demanding and requires one to be patient since they will encounter diverse patients who need specialized care treatment ( Potter et al., 2016). I have always wished to be a nurse, and I love my nursing career, especially helping and treating others the same way I like to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.
