Good health is vital to every human being to enable them to run their day to day life comfortably. It is important to note that good health goes hand in hand with a good health system—notably, the health sector focus on providing services for patient well-being. The main aim of this research paper is to focus on how the health sector has reformed in terms of improving health care, decreasing the cost of accessing health care, and giving care to citizens as well as the role of nursing in achieving this reform.

Health care reforms are changes put in place for the better health sector. These changes include Citizens accessing quality health services at an affordable price (McDonough, 2018). The introduction of insurance covers is one way of ensuring people get health services at a lower price without straining them. The use of insurance programs widens the number of people who receive health care in either public or private sectors.

Furthermore, health care providers play a vital role in health reform. For instance, nurses develop nurse’s health systems to reduce medical errors, improving the services provided, and prevent workforce shortages (McDonough, 2018). Notably, for the health care form to be sustained, health workers and the government at large have to show maximum coordination (Mulligan & Castarieda, 2018). On the other hand, there are some initiatives put in place for patient wellness and prevention, which include dietary guideless.

In conclusion, it is essential to note that every person has the right to health care regardless of their social status. This is not only important to the citizens but also the government at large. Health care providers like the nurses should be at the forefront to ensure that this initiative is adhered to. Health reforms, like the provision of insurance, cover ensure that even the less fortunate in our society, access health services.
