My Personality
I can be best described as an architect. According to the characteristics I possess, my personality type is envisioned in the architect. There are several reasons as to why I am an architect. Firstly, I am always imaginative and make informed decisions. This is because I always view things from a different perspective, a factor that makes me imaginative. Secondly, I am constantly curious and also ambitious. My next step is always driven by the ambitions that are within me. I reserve my privacy, and in most instances, I share very little with other people concerning my private life. Considering that architects are always dreamers, this character is evident in me because I am always optimistic about the future. I admire new challenges, and this is one of the reasons that make me become thirsty about adventure and knowledge. Finally, I am determined, and I always stand on logic and consider principles that guide me.
My Personality Strengths
One of the most significant strengths that are related to my personality type is the aspect of high self-confidence.. This is to imply that whenever I make a decision, I usually have no reason to doubt my instincts or abilities. Architects can be arrogant at some points. This weakness is apparent in me because, in some instances, I am carried with my confidence. The second weakness I possess is judgmental. I believe in my rationalism until sometimes, I forego the intended truth. The third weakness I have as an architect is being clueless in romance. This weakness is evident because I overanalyze and, in return, fail to get along especially, in new relationships.
Career Suited for Personality
Considering the strengths and weaknesses that I possess as an architect, the two best careers that suit me are civil engineering and surveying. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, civil engineering career requires completion of tasks about designing, building, and supervising infrastructures. On the other hand, surveying involves making precise measurements to determine boundaries. These careers are best for me because I am in a position to make an informed decision, explore new knowledge, and also tackle complicated tasks. My strengths will aid me in ensuring that I efficiently perform complex tasks because I am optimistic, hardworking, and always chasing my dreams.
How to Nurture my Nature
After understanding my personality type, I can now acknowledge the influence it has on me. Evaluation of my strengths and weaknesses provides me with an insight on how to nurture my nature. Specifically, on my academic performance, it will help me recognize my area of specialty, and as a result, I can embrace the field. Oz contends that personality is important in determining the levels of reflection, understanding, and control on learning (Oz, 2016). I will positively work to improve my weaknesses and uphold my strength. This will be vital in ensuring that I perfect in my studies. I will also be able to create room for the continuous growth of my strengths while at the same time, alleviating my weaknesses.
