Internet also have an advantage in that it is the most advanced mass media platform. According to Hanson (2018) media has been evolving and the internet is at the top of the list. Initially people used face to face communication, where communication was limited to a small contact. Afterwards, people adapted to interpersonal communication followed by the print media including books, letters and magazines. However, with time people are now into digital era where they mainly utilize the interactive media. The interactive media encompasses online and mobile data networks, they mainly use internet. It is the new phase of communication, and most people have accepted mobile and online data networks as the ideal form of communication. Essentially, the interactive media is easier to use and portable giving it a head start ahead of other forms of communication. It is a perfect explanation as to why the internet has garnered too much attention ahead of other platforms of communication.

Internet encompasses all the platforms of communication. Hanson (2018) asserted that a basic media platform has to be social, as such all the platforms are social and they always aspire to remain social. But to do so, they require internet which has been accepted as the most outstanding communication platform. It is through the internet that various forms such as Facebook and Twitter have been accessible to many. Literally, they do not have capability to operate without the internet. Televisions for instance have shifted from broadcasting towards connecting people, to do so, they have been using internet cables. It is the only way to remain social as possible ahead of other forms of communication. To emphasize on this, take a look at the news coverage people need to be online to receive news updates, to do so, gadgets such as mobile phones and Tablets have been directly connected to the internet. As such, the internet remains to be a basic platform and various media platform requires it to remain at the top.

Also, the internet has the tendency to facilitate communication, entertainment and business transactions than other media platforms. Currently people have indulged into goggle as the basic form of information. But to do so, they do require internet which always come in handy as people open their search engines. It is a trend that everything is found in Google, it covers students, business and entertainment and altogether people have to be connected to do so. Nowadays people prefers internet sources as books and magazines are hard to read and to their access also requires time (Hanson, 2018). Therefore, internet has been playing a huge role in facilitating and enhancing easier access to information. It makes it the most ideal mass communication platform, there is a guarantee that one will find something essential provided they have the access to internet.

Internet runs the world business. Hanson (2018) illustrated that the world is transforming from paper work to digital technologies. It is inevitable and renowned magazines such as the New Yorker and New York Times have gone online to facilitate their coverage. Hanson went ahead to explain that the magazines have their online websites where people can access their information. It is a complete control over the print and electronic media. Other magazines are following the suit to ensure they stay on the top. Other platforms such as the newspapers have limited sales as compared to the manner in which they did 20th century. People, and especially the youths have adopted online as the basic platform to access information. Also the stock exchange market is taking place in the internet. It is likely that in the future people will transform their business online, it is the bestselling market as it covers a wide range. A simple advertisement in Facebook, YouTube or any other online platform has a lot of views. Thus, the internet is the future of business and it completely outdo other mass communication platforms.

In summation, the internet is the center of mass communication. It is gaining much attention than any other communication platform. Online business coverage is just an example of how internet has completely controlled other media platforms. Besides, the world is going digital, chances are paper work will have limited use, if not any at all. The internet has taken the initiative to control other platforms, Televisions and magazines have embraced internet as the basic operation tool. Therefore, internet is the most power mass media platform.
