The interactive and anonymity capabilities of modern technology support the Ku Klux Klan's recruitment practices throughout the US. Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and racism promote white nationalism and hate violence in the US (Southern Poverty Law Center, 2020). The Ku Klux Klan perpetuates the ideology in the country through the internet. Currently, the US experiences a rise in white nationalism or supremacy movement linked to a series of anti-Semitic and racist terror attacks in the country.

Since 2017, the campaign of President Donald Trump accelerated the increase of membership in various white nationalist organizations in the country. The white supremacists consider President Donald Trump to address their anxiety and grievances of demographic changes in the country. The Southern Poverty Law Center (2020) holds that the US has an approximately 55% increase of white nationalist organizations or groups presently. Based on the persistence of terror attacks in various parts of the US, such as El Paso in Texas, Virginia in Charlottesville, and Richmond city in Virginia, the Ku Klux Klan composed of former military veterans, may use firearms or guns to commit series of future domestic terrorism in the country.

The Ku Klux Klan holds that an increase in immigration into the US may promote a demographic change resulting in the emergence of the minority group as the majority population in the country by 2042. The Ku Klux Klan intends to maintain white supremacy and dominance in the American economic, social, and political life. The desire to promote white survival and pride ideology among the Ku Klux Klan accelerates hate crime and racial violence. For instance, the confessed leader of the Ku Klux Klan, Harry H. Rogers, intentionally drove his car into a cluster of demonstrators or protesters in Richmond, Virginia, depicts hate crime in the country. Additionally, James Alex Fields Jr intentionally drove his car a group of peaceful protesters in Charlottesville, resulting in the death of a person and injury of about 30 people (McEvoy, 2020). Consequently, the attempts to maintain white supremacy and dominance in the American economic, social, and political life will promote future domestic terrorism in the country.
