After working with others within a group, my approach when dealing with people took a different direction as I learned a lot from experience and my teammates and am ready to use the lesson learned in my profession and life in the future. As a team member, I exhibit some great qualities to my other group members, and these qualities have helped them know me well and able to work with me swiftly in all the activities that we work on together. Among the qualities is Self-awareness which gives me a chance to accept my weaknesses and focus on my strengths, which has helped me relate well with my group members (Harris, 2018). I am reliable and honest, and positive that I am always encouraging them to try new things believing that they can succeed in anything they do as long as they put efforts.
The other group's members would say that I practice empathy and is not biased, and is good at expressing myself. However, I need to improve on my non-verbal communication and be in a position to always ask for feedback from people I am working with, to give me a better chance to improve myself. I learned that my conflict management styles are essential in increasing productivity among my peers and helps to reduce and manage risk as I use the collaboration conflict management style, which involves all parties and requests them to talk through the conflict by negotiating and finding a solution together (Ayub, 2017). This style can be used to achieve a long-term solution and preserve their relationship even after the conflicts.

Yes, there are several actions taken to challenges the approach described by the conflict style management where I have become more considerate and empathetic when dealing with my peers, and I no longer involve myself with unnecessary conflicts as I am looked upon by my peers to help them solve their issues amicably (Harris, 2018). I always use the assertive communication style with others as I find it the effective communication style, which portrays my confidence level as I express myself and actively listen to them when they speak to express their needs.
The lessons I learned in this course will play an important role in my professional world and personal life. I can always prioritize connecting with others and focusing on developing and using my strengths, and embracing my weaknesses. They have also taught me to ensure that I don't thrive in conflicts and always ensure that others can settle their conflicts.
