Subject: The Life and Work of Melissa Shuffield
As part of the class mentoring program, we had a guest speaker called Melissa Shuffield who is a public figure in our society, thanks to her role in the media and public affairs that has spanned over a decade. From her inspiring story, both personal and her professional journey, I learned the following facts about her personality.
Personal Life.
Shuffield currently lives in Miami, which is not only her hometown but her workplace as well. Although she is considered a successful public affairs personality, she always wanted to be in communication only, until she got an opening to work with a Public Relations firm in Washington.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
Public Career.
The guest speaker had a debut as a career person in 2002 when she got listed with a public affairs firm. Her second employment was at Capitol Hill where she was for a while before moving on to another PR firm. She has had the privilege of working with Senator McCain.
Current Role.
The most asked questions about her work are, what she does, upon which she not only has to state her role, but also explain what the post entails. The other question that she has been asked multiple times is how she ended up in her current career.
Professional Achievements.
She started her career as a public health worker for the PR firm in which she addressed issues on a global scale. Her notable achievements include the successful anti-smoking and the USDA vegetable campaigns which she has been privileged to steer head. In this capacity, she was able to decrease smoothing by up to 25%. She believes the ability to adapt quickly to fast pace environments has greatly helped her cope with the changing trends in the job industry.
Tips for Successful Interactions.
If you ask her, Melissa Shuffield believes that there is a lot of content in what one sees legally, and to be able to derive much information from this, it is essential that one’s answers during interviews or interrogations should always be message specific. To achieve this, one should be composed when talking to a reporter so that the message is clear, specific and actionable.
