Question 1
Based on the Model of Primary Leadership Skills, I would describe Nilda’s leadership skills as interpersonal. This is demonstrated by how Nilda was concerned about other people in the community. She cared about everyone around her. When there were new neighbors in her neighborhood, she befriended them and asked them if she could be their weaving teacher (Karangiani & Montgomery , 2018). She has excellent communication skills as she could talk to those around her and convince them to be teaching them what she has learned in her many years of weaving. She could deliver different projects in the community and encourage new initiatives to empower others.
Question 2
Nilda’s ability to inspire and convince others contributed to successfully leading CTTC. She made this possible by always convincing others to share a dream of raising and growing CTTC. She had strategic thinking skills that helped her become an effective leader in CTTC; she could also make the CTTC rise as she was friendly and had great interaction skills (Zeike et al., 2019). She made contacts in her many traveling sprees, which helped her to get support for the organization. The weavers trusted her with their dreams and goals towards the organization, and she was able to help them make them come true.

Nilda exhibited emotional intelligence by how she was actively involved with others and volunteering to be their weaving teacher. She was flexible and available whenever needed by the community to help out in weaving and teach others how to weave.
Question 4
My biggest takeaway from this story is that anything is possible as long as we put more effort and become determined. We can achieve all our dreams and become great in all we do if we are determined and put effort into our works.
Question 5
What I find most inspiring in the story is how a young girl could rise and become such a reliable leader in their society, leading older women and interacting with them as young as she was and coming up with an organization that is able to help women sell their products and be able to cater for their family’s needs financially.
Conclusion
To be successful in leading others, they should be ensured to be active listeners and be emotionally intelligent. Leading others is not an easy task but with the right attitude it is possible no matter your age. Many people are achieving their dreams by working hard and overcoming all the obstacles around them to become successful.
