The symptoms which are most common in HIV/AIDS patients are the lack of energy. This significantly complicates an individual's living and relationships. The short term symptoms of HIV/AIDS include dizziness, vomiting, fatigue, headache, diarrhea, and muscle pain. The long terms symptoms include lipodystrophy, kidney failure, heart disease, osteoporosis snd liver damage (Randall, 2018). The patient feels tired most of the time, and at some point, they are unable to physically move their bodies appropriately over fatigue. The feelings of fatigue normally affect their work-life as well as their personal health as they need physical activity to keep fit. Also, these patients experience difficulties sleeping, which burdens these affected individuals. Also, there is constant pain which has been generalized in HIV/AIDS. An individual who is in pain might be unable to work or even move much, which significantly affects the patient's life ranging from their ability to work to their personal life. Another aspect of pain is the ability to subsequently manage pain, which is an issue. The HIV/AIDS symptoms usually worsen over time, when the disease progresses from HIV to AIDS. However, they can be curbed by taking the necessary medication as prescribed.
