The setting is the psychological department in the hospital where patients with different depression issues are given free counseling. There are two chairs opposite of each other and between them a tabled. On top of table lays different charts and patients files of different colors. On the wall, different charts of different kind are pinned. On one side of the room is huge file store with different files.
An explanation of the presenting concern
The study is an effort to help the client overcome the fever of expressing his medical condition to his broken family. The patient has been diagnosed with cancer of the bladder but finds it so hard to share information with the family ( ideafi . 2008). His main claim is that the family is already broken and he feels ashamed of sharing this information with his divorced wife and five grown up children. His main concern is to get medical attention first before allowing the family members to hear about his condition.
