Law enforcement agencies are vital institutions that protect the welfare of the society. Adhering to the roles issued to law enforcement agents such as police is one of the positive organizational culture apparent in this agency. Conducting comprehensive investigation and the facilitation of block-watch groups are examples of roles that a police officer must fulfill to realize an agency that values their roles to the people they are protecting (McDermott & Hulse, 2012). An organization that pursues its functions entirely promotes a competent culture where all the agents in the law enforcement agencies adhere to as an example of a significant role in society. A working personality is another culture in the law enforcement agencies that emanates from the environment. Law enforcement agencies such and policemen and women operate in a hostile environment full of criminals and all sorts of felonies (Boke & Nalla, 2014). Such an environment toughens them both mentally and physically, leading to a perfect culture of protecting society no matter the dangers. Although the culture can contribute to the police brutality due to the use of force emanating from frustrations and pressures from the highly ranked law enforcement officers, their primary aims are to realize a crime-free society. Job satisfaction also forms an element of organizational culture in law enforcement agencies. Law enforcement officers undergo training that contributes to the perception that their job is the first aspect that they should value. They seek satisfaction from solving cases, incarcerating high-end criminals, and taking care of their duties diligently (Boke & Nalla, 2014). This type of culture leads to the positivity in the police departments and motivation to achieve their aims. The culture in an organization where employees value their jobs and derive joy from it is a positive kind of philosophy mainly shown in law enforcement agencies.
