Healthcare organizations in contemporary times are embracing innovative methods in enhancing the quality of their services and patient satisfaction. Notably, the development of systems is one of the significant innovations that aim to enhance efficiency in a health care facility. The development of a system is a role played majorly by nurse informatics. Remarkably, nurse informatics plays a very vital role in the development and implementation of a system.

First, the information concerning procedures and tools that can be implemented in a system are given to ensure it is user-friendly and thus, useful to the entire staff. Since informatics nurses have rich knowledge in clinical nursing, they understand what can practically work for medical staff. In this case, they give recommendations on how it should be developed for ideal usability. Consequently, the systems will achieve its intended purpose of enhancing efficiency and overall patients' satisfaction in a healthcare organization. Thus, nurse informatics is essential in the development and implementation process of a system.

Secondly, the information about the workload expected to be handled by the system is shared with the developer. In this case, they pick on the system with precise specifications that can adequately handle the workload (Darvish et al., 2014). In this case, the system development team can choose the right components, hardware, and software that can handle the workload at the healthcare facility. Hence, the contribution of nurse informatics is critical in the development and implementation of a system.

Thirdly, the nurse informatics equips other medical staff with knowledge, skills, and concepts on how to effectively utilize a system. Markedly, this is done through organized seminars and workshops where informatics nurses are regarded as experts. They contact this noble exercise before the development and implementation of the program to ensure a smooth transition. Remarkably, this limits the error that may arise while using the system implemented in the care facility. For instance, they teach them how to collect, store, and easily retrieve information from the system when needed. Hence, nurse informatics is essential for efficient development and implementation of s system.

Then, nurse informatics also has the role of entering raw data into the system and analyzing it for easier comprehension by staff and other healthcare stakeholders. In this case, they deal with research data, quality control data, and survey results that are entered into the system. This enhances the usability of the system to the care facility. In addition to this, it makes the transition into using a new system an easy and smooth procedure. Thus, nurse informatics is vital in ensuring these critical procedures in the healthcare facility.

Lastly, nurse informatics presents a consultative platform for both developers of the systems and the users. They respond to queries by the medical staff and stakeholders concerning various aspects of the system. In case of breakdown, they are readily available to provide prompt solutions (Lee, 2014). On the other hand, they give developers feedback concerning the initial usability of the system. They also respond to developers' queries regarding this initial interaction with the system. This facilitates them to fine-tune the system and customize it further; hence, it enhances its impact on achieving its goals in the healthcare facility.

Conclusively, nurse informatics plays a critical in serving developers with essential information concerning the procedures and tools to be included in the system. In connection with this, the information concerning the expected load is also shared. The nurse informatics teaches the medical staff on how to use the system; they enter raw data and analyze it, and play a consultative role for both developers and stakeholders in the healthcare organization. Strikingly, the role makes the development and implementation of the system a smooth process.
