The current issues in the healthcare sector outline the roles and essentiality of the health practitioners, especially the nurses, and their contribution towards the development of the community. The establishment of healthcare intervention centers in schools and communal setting demystifies the unwavering concern of the healthcare sector to offer quality education and treatment for the public. For instance, one of the concerns of establishing the intervention centers and healthcare program in schools is to target youths, especially teenagers who are vulnerable to engaging in unprotected sex, resulting in teenage pregnancy (Bingham, 2017). The role of the current healthcare programs is to educate the teenagers and the youths at large about the dangers of engaging in unprotected sex. The current healthcare nursing also entails the need to recruit highly qualified nurses for reasons of achieving sustainability in the healthcare sector and the provision of quality healthcare services in every corner of the globe. For instance, the reason for coming up with the concern of a registered nurse initiative is to recruit highly competitive professionals in the healthcare industry.

The need for understanding the concept of developmental psychology that tends to outlines the reasoning for human functioning and cognitive capability in modern society explains the concept of current health nursing. The establishment of an adult care institution in communities is intended to resolve and understand issues of anxiety disorders and instances of Alzheimer's disease that continue to adversely affect the cognitive capability of people in their middle and late adulthood (Cherry & Jacob, 2016). Ideally, the fact that the youth relies on the concept of developmental psychology in a bid to understand a variety of multidimensional influences that impact on human functioning means that the initiative to establish adult care services and programs in communal setting helps alleviate all sorts of psychosocial disorders in today’s society.
