Alien life exists based on the evidence that has been presented by the researchers towards the claim. Frank Drake equation which was devised to estimate the probability that extraterrestrial life exists has shown that there are many other planets other than the earth capable of supporting life. From the statistics done by Drake, it was found that thousands of planets exist and that they can support life (Grady, 2013). Other researchers such as Dick Carrigan have also provided signs to show that life exists in the atmosphere. For example, the finding of air that is 21% oxygen shows that the process of photosynthesis is minting the gas.

The search for the terrestrial life should continue due to positive signs of their existence. The primary focus in the search for alien life within the solar system is the curiosity to expand our knowledge of the geology and history while also giving the opportunity to explore the solar system. The search for alien life is also necessary because it allows for the multidiscipline interaction where astronomy, biology and geology all interact to expand the scope of science. Given the scientific importance, the search should continue to find the alien life.

Scientists have been moving around and calling to the stars in an attempt to make it possible for the contact with the intelligent species. There have been plans to talk to those living in other planets an attempt to make the first contact. Astrologists have even proposed a series of strategies, including making light and transmitting electricity without wires in an effort to communicate with aliens in mars. The recent attempt has been Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 which has maps leading to earth where we reside with the hope that it will direct the aliens to our location (Jayawardhana, 2013). However, scientists must be the first to make attempts for the first contact with the aliens.
