Intersectionality can be described as a framework purposed for conceptualizing a group of individuals, a person or similarly, a social problem as influenced by a variety of disadvantages and discriminations. Intersectionality tends to take into account the experiences and overlapping identities of people for an understanding of prejudices they face and how complex they might be. That is, people find themselves in a disadvantaged position due to various sources of oppression such as gender, race, and sexual orientation, among others. It acknowledges that assets such as identity markers do not exist independently; bringing creating the idea of a mutual connection that more often than not creates convergence oppression (Glikman & Elkayam, 2018) . The primary goal of the movement is a media landscape that precisely tells the full story of the communities as well as reflect on the minor details that more often are overlooked.

To fight the ignorance and silence surrounding LGBT people and LGBTQ issues, intersectionality is vital in mobilizing communities throughout the country for the advancement in their rights, equality, and protection just as with the other citizens within the state. This is because LGBTQ individuals face police brutality, limited financial opportunities, and social marginalization. Therefore, there is a need for a liberating force or action such as the intersectionality for a change to be realized in society (Glikman & Elkayam, 2018) . This is a perfect tool that provides the opportunity to highlight the critical events as well as grant equality to the trans and cis-sexual individuals. There is a necessity for the scheme for the survival of the LGBTQ individuals, equality, social mobility as well as the enjoyment of privileges such as congregating with new acquaintances. Besides, there is a need to fight and exterminate misconceptions and stereotypes that have continued to increase by the day against LGBTQ individuals.
2. You watched the film (A) sexual and heard various perspectives regarding people who identify as asexual. Describe your reactions to this film. How do you feel about the criticisms/backlash the asexual people in this film had to face?
The (A) sexual film is based on a sexually obsessed culture. The film revolves around misconceptions and stereotypes on the issue of sexuality, thereby depicting the inadequacy of information and social and scientific research. A proper definition of the term Asexual is an individual or people experiencing no attractions sexually; hence, they end up wallowing in a myriad of problems seeking to claim their identities (Fyon & Lenormand, 2018) . The film provides more information on asexuality, which varies from the inadequacy of information provided by the available books on that subject matter. Thus, the film excels in demystifying the subject and creating awareness of asexual individuals.
Asexuals in the film depict the loneliness in their daily lives since the topic in itself is an isolating experience to talk about. This is because no one readily understands what it all entails. However, through self-expression, the asexuals manage to breakdown the feeling of isolation to a point where there is no silence. Some of the scenes display asexuals being viewed as lesser individuals devoid of all the attributes of normal humans. Through this, the film elaborates on sexual desire as an essential element of the life of humans. Also, it is apparent that those without sexual desire are regarded as deficient and thus predisposed to discrimination. However, the lack of sexual attraction by an individual should not be associated with the fundamental challenges to the existing sexual structures. Besides, very few negative impacts have been identified with asexuals; one of which is difficulties in coping with social situations and relationships. These challenges can be resolved by embracing the individuals indiscriminately. Therefore, despite the negativity associated with asexuals, adequate information on the issue is imperative in curtailing the social schism between the asexual individuals and the rest of the society.
