Operations management is multidisciplinary in nature and aims in managing various diverse aspects of operations that define different organizations (Shepherd and Günter, 2010). As posited by Trkman (2010), it acts and performs the all the central functions that belong to a particular group. Understanding this field of management will equip the managers and the employees with a first framework as the best strategy for understanding and executing its functions. The functionality of the business defined here can either be the production of goods and services or private function, public or conducting voluntary functions (Shepherd and Günter, 2010). The important operation management of many organizations varies from one business to another. Operations managers induce their critical ability to check on the strategies that can lead to the general success of the team. Particularly, they focus on the needs of the suppliers and the customers who do not form part of the company boundary. 

The external environment is again aimed and focused on to ensure efficient and productive workforce. The operation managers have the power to plan and control all the activities of their organization and therefore anticipate sustaining marketing strategies, using techniques or strategies that are goal-oriented to enhance the continuity of the business (Ghai & Vivian, 2014). In this research, the success and failures that HTC Inc., Corporation gains and experiences based on the operations management are widely enlightened to help save the future of the business. Purposefully, the research provides precise and conclusive information on the various factors, methodologies or strategies; the company needs to adopt to satisfy the demands of the end users and therefore attain the competitive advantage in the global market. Operations management is a diverging area in business that any company like HTC Inc., corporation initiate in their firms to help them achieve their outlined goals or objectives (Ghai & Vivian, 2014).

HTC Inc., Corporation is an international organization based in China and manufactures, markets and supplies electronic devices such as mobile phones and network devices in various part of the global society. Since success is a dependable variable in any business organization, HTC Inc., corporation has employed different strategies based on the operations management to enhance the mission of the company (Trkman, 2010). It has been operational for the last seven years and is renowned as the best company with best offers of Android phones and network devices not only in China but also in the contemporary world. According to Chandrasegaran & Ramani (2013), designing the corporation system through product development has helped the managers and the employees to create a productive organization that underlines the features of the products it sells to the customers. The tools and equipment that is efficient and consistent with the manufacturing process, monitoring the information system and controlling performance must coincide with the enterprise arising demand to enhance its success (Ghai & Vivian, 2014).

In many manufacturing companies, operations management is a significant factor of consideration since this type of the Directorate forms an integral part of decision-making process. When focusing on the HTC Inc., corporation, the architectural decisions made by the operations managers such as technological involvement have recently changed the business outlook and in the due process have to lead to its success of exploring the global market and attaining competitive advantage (Kuchler & Linnér, 2012). Technology has greater impact on the company since it helps the company managers to create a market circle consisting of various suppliers, investors and customers. According to Goetsch and Davis (2014), quality management by operational managers in the HTC Inc., corporation through evaluative decision-making process have increased the success of the organization.

Weaknesses of HTC Inc., Corporation.

Despite the factors leading to the success of this organization, there are various constraints; the business has faced as a result of the operations management. The raised concerns of the managers to involve in autocratic management or leadership style have demoralized the success of the business from various directions. Since managers are high in the company hierarchy, they make decisions to the enterprise on different strategies to be anticipated without the involvement of other subordinate staffs and employees (Becker, Kugeler, and Rosemann, 2013). Some technologies are little in consistency but very expensive to buy. Lack of work motivation is a major problem facing the company as the employee's loose work morale due to unappreciated effort in their sectors or areas of operation. Also, poor communicative language due cultural variance has again challenged the business. It has various employees from different ethnicities who vary in their social ability. This factor significantly deploys the workability and market force of the company (Cummings & Worley, 2014).

In summary, the topic of research, operational management is the central point and a multidiscipline subjects every manager in a business firm must adopt to initiate change in the company. It has helped learners' and managers to have the low-down on how the topic impacts various enterprises in the global world of competitors. Through this search, system designing factors and planning strategies are explored on how they relate and create a stable workforce. Comparatively, the HTC Inc., corporation will define its future only when the operation managers changed their management or leadership style from autocratic to democratic system, where all the individuals within the organization participate in decision-making process. Besides, the company should adopt technologies that are consistent to enhance manufacturing process and produce quality electronic products as compared to other constituent organizations. Achieving the market advantage can be uncompromising based on the decision of the operations managers on the strategies implemented to initiate business progressiveness.
