The three tactics aimed at the community that would add visibility of executives in my awareness campaign are social media, partnerships, and publicity and public relations. The social media tactic will take on the generation of individuals engulfed in technology. The campaign will be designed to promote awareness of the various signs of the different types of cancer. The campaign on breast cancer, for example, will use the symbols representing the different types of the condition. The partnership tactic will be essential in adding visibility of the executive by creating a co-brand demonstrating social responsibility. Co-branding with agencies that advocate for specific diseases will bring awareness through joint marketing to reach a broader audience. A wide range of brands goes pink to recognize cancer awareness month with their products and promotional campaign. The cancer awareness campaign will reach a wide range of audience because consumers of every generation shop at stores and buy brands that support good causes with price and quality being equal.
The publicity and public relations tactic will increase the visibility of the executive by attracting media attention to press conferences. Public relations will make the public think favorably about the local cancer society and its offerings. The public relations tools to be used in the campaign include community service programs, speaking engagements, press conferences, and news releases. The campaign will help in positioning the cancer screening and eliminate negativities on the part of the public.

The most difficult tactic to execute in my community awareness campaign is the use of social media. The advancement in technology seems to be a contributing factor to developing cancer. Social media information may be misinterpreted or misleading, leading to inappropriate health behaviors ( Wong, Merchant & Moreno, 2014) . The use of social media is also related to challenges regarding confidentiality and privacy in online interaction with individuals. The other challenge is the transient popularity of online sites, especially among young adults and adolescents.
The possible course of action to address the issue of privacy in using social media is the use of secure closed social networking systems. The potential solution to the issue of misinterpreting social media information is to encourage individuals to verify social media information with trusted healthcare practitioners ( Wong, Merchant & Moreno, 2014) . The issue of transient popularity of sites is to select a platform to target audience group and the format of disseminated information effectively.
