The United States Intelligence Community refers to the group of US agencies and organizations that support the nation’s policy and security initiatives. Some of these agencies include the Air Force Intelligence and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The role of the Air Force Intelligence is to provide intelligence on the information derived from airborne, space and cyberspace sensors ("Members of the IC", 2020) . They also inform quality decisions that contribute to the commander's efforts to achieve favorable outcomes on targets globally. Additionally, such decisions support national, strategic, operational and tactical requirements. Their area of responsibility is the functional management of the Air Force capabilities such as planning programming and budgeting. The role of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is to identify and analyze the current threats of the country's national security and the organizations that pose harm to the United States. Their area of concern entails collaborating with the law enforcement community to ensure intelligence policy and guidance ("Intelligence | Federal Bureau of Investigation", 2020) . The FBI also ensures objective intelligence production while striking a balance between strategic and tactical work.
The primary type of intelligence collected by the Air Force is military intelligence. Military intelligence involves the collection and analysis of strategic intelligence, operational intelligence, tactical intelligence and tasking intelligence. Military intelligence is used to facilitate commanders with relevant decision making information. The FBI mainly collect political intelligence. They gather external intelligence that is associated with foreign threats which are mostly caused by political feuds, resulting in terrorism. The FBI uses this intelligence to analyze raw data and come up with solutions to plan effective counterterrorism measures.

The Air Force and FBI work together to fight terrorism. They both work together to produce and disseminate information and coordinate joint counterterrorism attacks against terrorist groups. The FBI often works as the grounds team with the Air Force representing the tactical team. I think the Air Force and the FBI have excellent interagency cooperation because they have created communication channels where they share intelligence concerning national security. I would recommend that the FBI should diversify their tactics and put more effort into fighting international terrorism as they do with domestic terrorism. The Air Force should build a firmer ground team responsible for collecting highly classified information that aids in intelligence.
