Many Christian believers are true to their belief that the acknowledgment of the science of evolution is incompatible with creation. However, there are plenty and fruitful contributions in contemporary theology that is committed to understanding the concept of creation and compare it with the modern scientific view of evolution. The theological perspective holds that there is the unchangeable faith in God to be the one who created the universe and sustains all lives existing. In Psalms 24:1 (CEV, 2018), it indicates that, “The earth and everything on it, including its people, belong to the Lord. The world and its people belong to him. In the same breath, they appreciate God’s creating activity is consistently being experienced in an evolving universe that started billions of years ago.
The science of evolution has something to inform us about theology. In fact, the reply to scientific theories and models has always been there for a long time. Many times, theologians have replied to the new scientific perspectives during their period by reconsidering their sense of creation passages biblically. However, scientific models affirm the truth of the bible. More people are willing to appreciate God better because they are now having a deeper understanding of creation and ourselves as affirmed scientifically. In Genesis 2:7 (King James Version), the Bible affirms that, the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. It also lays a platform to believe many other contents of the Bible that requires a lot of faith to affirm that they truly happened.

According to Ratzinger (1995), scientific models do not revoke theological truths, instead, they promote theological reflection on the manner such timeless facts (like the creation of the whole world) might be demonstrated for our era. The advice that theologians have is that scientists should not be wasting their time to prove what is already true and valid. For instance, in Job 26:7 the bible says, “Who hung the northern sky and suspended the earth on empty space (CEV, 2018).” The scientists should have just believed God for this truth, instead of wasting resources and time to uncover the fact that the bible had clearly highlighted.
It is a possibility to appreciate strongly the science of evolution and recognize scientific facts produced, and yet at the same time believe the theological concept of creation. The accumulated scientific facts on evolution have always confirmed what we believe on Creation. It helps us to understand the intelligence of God in creation, who responsibly designed everything seen and unseen. Therefore, we can say emphatically, that irreconcilable conflict between the theological concept of creation and the science of evolution does not exist.
