The evidence on which at the beginning it is told that everyone is aware of the problems faced when tackling the questions of gender and sexuality supports this article. Furthermore, the author implicates that there has been a rapid increase of critical works theorizing gender from the perspective of third-world women as well as those who identify with the broader constituency of women of color.

The reading matter is on the difficulties everyone face in approaching the questions of race and colonialism that are being addressed within gender studies. The article rotates around gender studies to eradicate feminism. It is proposed that at a quick look, the contemporary situation of gender studies seems promising. The narrative provides knowledge on the differences between feminist theorists and other ordinary people on a perspective way of looking at feminism. Examples of books have been mentioned to give correct direction on gender studies.

In conclusion, the writings raise a question on how people view the focus of feminism. Most people think feminism focuses exclusively on girls and women and that it has an inherent goal of promoting the superiority of women over men. In reality, feminism has always been about viewing the social world in a way that illuminates the forces that create and support inequality, oppression, and injustice and in doing so promotes the pursuit of equality and justice. This reading connects substantively with the other writings in a manner that they all agree and lay on the same environment, “feminism.”
